Friday: 4 tacos, 4 slices of pizza 1/2 serving of veggies (I do like veggies on my tacos) 3 litters of water Saturday: 3 pieces of pizza, 1/2 cup baked beans, 1 hot dog & bun, chips & dip No veggies 3 litters of water Sunday: lrg coffee, ham, mashed potatoes & gravy, lrg salad, pasta meatballs 2 servings of veggies 2 litters water Monday: 2 granola bars, banana, gogurt, 2 tacos, steak, green beans, 1 cup mac & cheese. 2 servings veggies 3 litters of water Tuesday: 2 breakfast sandwiches, 3 tacos, 1 bunch of asparagus 2 1/2 servings of veggies 2 litters of water Wednesday: Donut, lunch-able nachos, mini kit kat, 2 grilled cheese, salsa & chips no veggies 2 litters of water Clearly I have a taco problem. Also I need to really watch my veggie intake and get that up. Maybe I should get more asparagus...
  2. Wednesday Morning snack: Banana & coffee Lunch: Philly cheese steak 6" sub, 1 cup carrots, 1 slice pizza Dinner: 3 tacos with 1 cup mixed veggies (tomatoes, lettuce etc) Drank 2 1/2 litters of water and got in 2 servings of veggies
  3. Tuesday food consumption So the last few weeks I have been skipping breakfast and having a morning snack somewhere around 10am. I have found most days I am not very hungry first thing in the morning and even the days when I do eat an actual breakfast I am ready for a snack around 10 anyway. Morning snack: Banana Lunch: 1 cup Spanish rice, 1/2 cup taco meat, 1/8 cup green chili peppers Dinner: 8" Philly cheese steak sub, 1 1/2 cups baby carrots Snacks: medium ice cream cone, 1 cup popcorn I made Philly cheese steak filling in my crock pot for the first time and it was aaaaamazing! 1 beef roast, onion, peppers, salt, pepper, beef bullion, garlic. combine in crock pot and cook at low for 6 hours. I put it on some rolls I picked up and topped with a slice of cheese. I drank 3 litters and I managed to get 2 of three veggie servings in.
  4. I wasn't tracking but this is what I can remember for meal yesterday No breakfast Lunch: a small salad & 2 bread sticks Dinner: 4 tacos with beans, guac, cheese, peppers, meat and about 1 cup of rice Snacks: (hangs head in shame and sadness) 1 1/2 rows of Oreos, and a glass of milk, 5 donut holes, and about 6 Hershey kisses
  5. Confession I am eating junk. So much junk. There have been several days when I have not even looked at a vegetable. I feel like poop I know making healthier choices in my foods will help me feel better but I still keep eating junk. I am super stressed. I feel like I am living in chaos, and everything is out of control. So I am eating that and a whole pack of cookies. It is time to stop. I am poisoning myself with junk food. This challenge I want to focus on what I am eating. Step 1 Start logging my food. I will report back here what I have eaten. Each morning I will l post what I had from the day before. I will be taking picture of my foods so that I don't forget what I had. Step 2 Add some dang veggies back into my diet. I enjoy them and I do feel better when I eat them. I am going to shoot for 3 servings of veggies a day. Step 3 Stop drinking calories (does not count coffee!) Skip the soda. Somehow soda has snuck back into my life. Well it can hit the curb. I shall welcome water back into my life. The goal here is to drink 3 litters of water a day. So to summarize: 1 - Log food daily 2 - Eat 3 servings of veggies a day 3 - Drink 3 litters of water daily
  6. From her seat in a dark corner Pixie Princess Pea randomly stands up a shouts "I LOVE YOU GUYS!" and then quickly sits back down wrapping up in an old cloak to hide.
  7. Also this has inspired my to actually do a challenge this time and constantly log in it, so I will just be in the corner polishing a challenge thread.
  8. At max level I will be: A warrior goddess. Physically I can run for miles, Lift 2x my body weight, I am a black belt and able to beat the crap out of you in seconds, however I choose not to because I am wise beyond my years, and have more important things to do like finish planning my hike up Mt. Everest. I am an experienced traveler. I spend weeks in the woods with my kids on hiking adventures. My family business is so stable that my husband and I can afford to be away from the office for a month at a time so we vacation in Italy. All of our kids feel safe and secure at home and we host taco night once a week (when we are in the country) where our hoe is filled with joy, laughter, lots of close friends and lots of mead. (What feast would be complete without mead?) I didn't really plan any over arching yearly goals, but if I did they would be to continue my workouts, and eating healthier. To convert my chub into muscle (warrior Goddess remember), and to do more fun things with my kids. My goals do line up with what I want to be when I grow up. I am a very step by step kind of person and I enjoy having a plan. Sticking to the plan not so much. I have been seriously struggling with keeping on my workouts and what I have been eating has gone to crap. I am under a huge amount of stress constantly and eating it.
  9. I have been hitting all my workouts, and my muscles do not appreciate it lol. I am still struggling with getting up on time and getting to bed on time.Tonight I am aiming to go to bed extra early, and I am hoping that helps me to get to bed earlier or on time.
  10. The first week went pretty well. I ended up missing karate on Wednesday and Friday. Other than that I missed two workouts over the weekend. This week I have been having a hard time getting to bed on time (too much Luke Cage). so getting up on time this week has been rough. So far workouts this week have been going well. I did my assisted chin ups last week and they were not too bad. Hooray! Last night I did my body weight work out. I am on NF body weight workout 3, so lots of chin up and bar hangs. Anyway did a bar hang last night and it was way worse than the assisted chin ups. The bar hang ripped up my hands
  11. Ha I got up on time today. I did not exercise but it was nice to sit with my coffee in the quiet before all the kids got up. Body weight workout coming up tonight. I am a little a nervous as it will be my first attempt at assisted chin ups.
  12. I'm up, I'm up, I'm up! Well almost. I have been waking up with my alarm but still lounging in bed dozing. I did get my workouts done Monday & Tuesday. I also went to bed on time the last two nights. I am not sure what I will do today. My karate class is canceled tonight.
  13. I am finding that the biggest road block keeping me from working out right now is a lack of time or poor time management (blast you animal crossings!). It is time to get my butt out of bed and get moving. Since my evening/bed time routine stinks right now I need to change that. Bed time is a firm 9:30pm with the privilege of reading in bed. My phone is getting moved across the room so I can not use it wile I am in bed, and a new alarm will be set. All of my goals for this challenge will be a bit intertwined. Goal 1: Go to bed. Bedtime is 9:30pm. I want to be in bed at 9:30 each evening. This will give me time to do a little reading or journaling before I fall asleep. Goal 2: Get up at 6-6:30am This will give me time to get in either a body weight workout, walk or yoga before the kids start getting up for school. Goal 3: Get back onto my daily workout schedule and actually exercise. I miss it. What this looks like - Monday body weight workout, Tuesday - yoga/kata, Wednesday - karate class, Thursday - body weight workout, Friday - karate class, Saturday - body weight workout, Sunday - yoga/kata I feel like these are all pretty big goals so I will be sticking with just the three this time. Also even though 9:30 is the goal time if I am in bed by 10 I will still be counting that as a win. Time to greet the sun.
  14. Do I record my distance from yesterday? I like the split up option even though I am normally against such things. It does seem like the right thing to do. Also, if it is a trap maybe the group that goes to the castle could go back and rescue them later?
  15. I am in a better mental space again. I think taking the pressure of my goals off helped. Also getting the dress built helped. Building the dresser helped make the room look more put together and cleaner. I have to say completing things really makes me feel good. One & Done: Find out what needs to be done to stabilize the basement Find out how much it would cost to to stabilize the basement Get a lock box for ammunition --- Done Get and set up a dresser for older girls --- Done (it is crooked but built) Get and set up a bookcase for older girls Move TV to sitting room and set it up. --- Done Register for marriage conference Register for Zombies 5K Buy tickets for Tool concert Get a house phone set up --- Done Move TV stand to basement --- Done
