  1. I always turn off notification on apps. I don't want to hear beeps and buzzes while i am meditating or anything really. I don't know why people like notifications

  3. marching in place back and forth, kicking, raising hands, man, the raising hands was hard for some reason.
  4. I need to work on reducing smoking i will make a plan, Will doing walk away the pounds daily be good? should i add more things or do things differnt days? i only did level one i guess you would call it. looking over the house twenty minutes a day sounds good. Yea, it does help thankyou
  5. Wow, i did it all. I thought this morning why not get them done. That workout videos is really fun i recommend it. i only did the first on walk a mile. I did it while my laundrey was going. I got my apartment all shiney and organised. Did my step book and went to a meeting. I decided to sit in my bathwater close my eyes and think f how wonderful these goals could turn out. My niece when i visit always wants me to get on the trampoline i imagined her saying" Uncle William your keeping up with me and not getting tired anymore" Wouldn't that be cool i could tell her i quit smoking and started exercising. I thought of me walking up hills and not getting tired. I don't drive so, that would be a blessing. I think my grocery bill will be alot lower i decided to look through my stuff see what i need, don't need and what needs thrown away. I think i might of accidently, fasted a bit cause i forgot breakfast doing all this but, I wanted to get it done. I made a meal plan based on what i have. I probably, don't have much paleo friendly but, i will head that direction some day. Maybe, I will get rid of my junk to replace it with good stuff from mother earth Man. the paleo diet really makes all the since of all the diets i have read about i mean we are the only species of life eating that junk in stores when we don't have too. I have read people that don't have all our food and technology are healthier it don't make much sense. Ever watched the Aborigines on a documentary man, there are ones with white hair climbing trees and Most, Americans can't climb stairs. I am not saying give up everything and live in a cave but. we could learn alot from the ones who do live in caves. I feel really good i think this plan i got is really good and I am going to keep going. I told my mom about this and told her to ask me about it ever once in awhile. she said she'd nag me about it.   6. I have a lot of stuff i would like to do but, after reading about Eager Beavers in the mistakes newbies make article I know I need to break it down. Part of me says no try to do it all but, I know better. 1. Do Nicotine Anonymous books and meetings. I got devotionals and a step book I want to work on. The meetings encouraged me to stop smoking once cold turkey but, not sure i want to try it that way again. Maybe, if i spend a month learning this stuff I can do better next time. 2. Walk Away The Pounds out of my workout video collection i decided to pick this one i just bought. it looks fun and think it is a good start. 3. Clean house and Body. I definitely. need to get in the habit of cleaning. everything is better when it is clean and organised. 4. try to spend twenty a week and make a grocery list. I noticed on the walmart website you can look up food and prices. I also, want to ,make healthier food choices. I would like to save money as well, plus, making a list you see what you beed and don't need i think i will stop here. i got a list but, I think that is too much. one thing i like about walk away the pounds by leslie sansone is she talks about how exercise relieves stress, gives you energy and is motivational.
  7. Well, I am on disability for mental problems but, I from what I seen on my quit smoking groups this is pretty common among anyone...some call it tha nicodemon... One person is the healthy person he says let's go walk. let's do tha fitness videos, drink water, don't drink caffeine, sugar, or smoke that is bad...you get my point by now. One person is the Guru he says read your books you got they contain wisdom, write in your journal, meditate, clean house, ...you get my point Well, they got together made a schedule and just want me to follow it. Then there is this guy i dunno let's call him Lazy person...He says just check facebook a little you got time, ahh take a cigarette break, what is the use in doing a schedule you'll probably go to work some day and can't do it..I could go on and on with this guys negativity and excuses to do nothing at all. I been feeling kind of guilty I really have not done anything but, thank goodness once you paId you paid for life..atleast. i think...i hope so The Guru and Healthy person love this place so, freaking much don't let them down lol..... I suppose i got to invent a new person...the boss lol.....The last job i had was lining boxes to put chicken in...imagine what my boss would have said if i said"Let me check my facebook notifications right quick" Maybe, I should even "work" from 8:00 to 3:00 and not allow myself on facebook except for maybe an hour lunch Probably, the only true way I will get anything i want done...done When i was little I listened to the Guru and Health freak but, because of bad friends and things the lazy side became stronger and the friends made fun of them actually. I am glad they all moved now, I can get back to where i was and today I need to respawn i guess you call it. I think i said what i need to do but, any advice or anything you want to add would be helpful. I decided to read about challenges i think i need to break down the things i want to do into monthly challenges i will work on that.
  8. Unless, someone tells m I cannot have a daily blog of what i do and how everything goes I am going to have one. I read a few to get some ideas but. I think I will just go with my feelings on this one. I did walk a little today i wish i tracked how long. I got an email with the things I am supposed to do and I will get to work on that. I quit smoking a whole day yesterday and relasped after an argument with my mom. But, I will do it again...I would say try but, I remember Yoda telling Hansolo there is no try or something like that. Maybe, I should ask google for some Yoda quotes since he seems to be an object of inspiration right now. May the force be with you. oh no, the dude i am thinking about is Luke not Hansolo lol
  9. I am William Northam I named myself Yoda Hansolo. I thought that was decriptive enough Hansolo goes in the woods and is trained by Yoda. I have not seen the knew movies but, what I remember from the old sounds right. I got on disability for mental problems and got kinda lazy..I been concerned that I am not doing anything for my body and Been smoking and drinking soda alot. I saw Nerd Fitness and it just all sounded so cool. My mom is my payee she did not want me to spend the money. but, she left her card at my house and I just could not resit temptation. When she called chewing me out I said I need this i have no motivation and i want to be healthier. She liked that idea very much but, said do not spend any more money and to talk to her before doing anything else. I gave the card back and said ok. Please, tell me there is a bunch of free stuff to do lol I got an email with stuff to do this week. I love this idea. I think working at factories I am used to some person coming and saying do this, this, and that..that is close enough and I like having a week to do it. If factories were that easy I probably, would not be on disability lol Let's see the question was asked what do i bring to the table...hmmmm.....I study a bunch of religions and inspiration books want me to make some daily wisdom section some where? I dunno is that allowed or is this just about exersize? I just got here right now so, i really don't know what all is here. I am sure I will add alot here as I look around.
