  1. Hi, To be honest I'd forgotten all about the post but...in the month I've been taking vitamins and a glass of water everyday, doing a bit of meditation and 'trying' to eat better
  2. Hi, Just finished playing the last uncharted and was wondering if it's possible to try and combine some of the things he does (scuba diving, rock climbing etc) in a year long of activities. Does anyone have any more ideas or have done some of the activities?
  3. I think that's what I'm heading towards... It's just how expensive it can be but if I need to do it I'll just have to bite the bullet!
  4. I have some days where I don't manage to do everything but it's a step in the right direction. What kinda goals have you been setting?
  5. Hi, I've had a bad posture for a long time and now because of the work I do (lots of pulling down with my tight arm on a pillar drill) my right lat just below my shoulder blade aches a lot of the time. I've tried a few basic stretches but nothing seems to help. I'd like to try and improve my posture and flexibility and fix my lat Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Jim
  6. Hi, For the water, we have 250ml cups at work and I figure if I have four throughout the day I'll have a litre a day. I suppose a good shape would be a functional one, not really into the gym body look. A good shape version of me would be without back pain, a bit more flexible and feel more confident.
  7. Hi, My name's Jim, I'm 38 and this my first quest. I've been working as a sheet metal prepper/ welder for nearly two years and although it's very physical I'm still struggling with keeping in a good shape. I've also struggled with anxiety, panic attacks and a smattering of depression My goals for the next four weeks are: Drink more water (about a litre a day) Replace my crisps with either fruit or vegetables. Meditate for at least ten minutes a day. Go out for a ten/fifteen mins walk in the evening. sit down in the evening and do ten minutes of writing. ( a desert fantasy I've just started on...) Don't know if this is a bit much to take on but I'll give it a go. Jim
  8. I'm in bedfordshire (a few miles north of london)
  9. Thanks for the advice, just got to get my goals sorted! (In between playing too much skyrim)
  10. Hi there, I'm in my late 30s with a physical job but still a little over weight. I keep asking myself where is like to be a year's time (fitter, more content, less anxiety) But when I turn around another year has gone and not much has changed... So I'm going to make more of an effort, starting small with a bit of exercise and a bit meditation I'm hoping to build both of them into a lifetime habit. Thanks for listening and if anyone's got any hints of love to hear them. Jim
