Hi! I just joined last week and thought I should introduce myself. I’m a 29 year old single mom. I currently work a boring desk job which is a huge change from working in a very busy oral surgeon’s office as a surgical assistant. I have a bad habit of starting things and not finishing them, like exercising and eating right. One of my goals is to finally finish Level Up haha. I’m a pretty healthy person (medically, not fitness-wise) but need to get into better shape. I donated a kidney last year and recently had another organ removed, so I’ve been pretty lazy for a while. I let my surgery last year be my excuse for sitting on my ass but it should be more reason to get healthier so I can keep my remaining kidney in tip top shape lol. I’m looking forward to absorbing everything this site has to offer and hopefully make some new friends along the way

I can relate.. keeping my head above water is how I’ve felt for too long now. I don’t have a husband but I have a seven year old and two cats I wrangle every day, that’s a challenge in itself haha. Journaling is a good idea. I used to do it a lot and someday I’ll get back into it. Good luck

Badass goals! Being able to kick some ass would be awesome haha I've always been interested in yoga. It will definitely be one of my future goals when I get the ok to do more flexibility-type things. What do you do for nutrition now? You mentioned being happy with it already. Do you do paleo or something else?

New to the site. Live in Rochester Hills, but from the west side of the state.
