  1. My bad. I will look into trying. I believe the electrolytes may help.
  2. I am doing better than expected with water intake. Of course some days better than others. I purchased a Berkey filter system which is amazing. It seems expensive but it will be years before replacing filters. Best tasting water ever. I too find Vitamin Water helpful but trying not to add sweeteners artificial or not.
  3. I've been so close to crapping out on the challenge and my goals. I haven't met all my goals, especially cigarettes but accountability to this group has really helped. Funny that years ago I wouldn't have interacted or thought this likely to help. I hope you can find it more motivating in the future. Thanks everyone for being here. Today I got some additional private yoga instruction and was sore and tired. On the way home I needed rice. Doubting my resolve to go for walk at home I walked perimeter of store for 10 minutes before shopping. I like this strategy as on good days I get in an extra walk.
  4. I am just beginning my journey of fitness after many years of sedentary lifestyle due to injury. It was my intention to look at yoga in a few months time but due to the toxic nature of my home I decided to accelerate the schedule and visit a studio. From my research I was certain that I wanted to investigate Iyengar yoga but it was almost a week before class. I then saw another class for Vinyasa yoga with the magical word BEGINNER. I really needed an escape so I went. First of all the studio was great as was the instructor who stressed if one was present in the now just sitting on the mat they were doing yoga. I didn't feel uncomfortable tapping out the first time in only ten minutes or any other time. Wonderful experience and environment that I hope to revisit. Surprisingly even with the extra exertion I found it really meditative. Perhaps it's just because that's what I needed. A word of advice to others that may find themselves in bad physical shape. Perhaps wait on Vinyasa. It kicked my ass. I left feeling great but could not move next day. Regardless I am glad to be doing it.
  5. Licorice and anise are the most repellent flavors to me but if that is the same Throat Coat I used to buy it is barely reminiscent of them. Probably closer to sasparilla if I remember correctly.
  6. I'm so glad I have you all to be accountable to everyone, I especially thank you scalyfreak for your welcome and inviting me along. I assume that I am not the only one not naturally social. Again I was having a "dark night of the soul" about my walk but I didn't want to lie or explain or worse yet just vanish. Thank you everyone for having me along! Off topic but since I already brought it up. I realize that yoga in general can be done daily. Is that true of someone totally out of shape? As I mentioned the excuse to go may be life changing.
  7. It's a good thing I did. My household is toxic for me and I am unable to leave. Although I planned on waiting before trying yoga I needed a safe environment. Fortunately I found a studio I am comfortable in and was able to mentally escape. The class kicked my ass as expected but then I realized I still needed to walk. I got home it was cold and dark but I was going to complete what I had logged. I confess the final 3 minutes were inside but I did it.
  8. Thanks. I had to open with Google app. The link in browser didn't work for me but I believe that I am in. I already logged my walk for today so I best get out there soon.
  9. I think I had that issue too. Try open it in the browser, so your account gets permission, then use the app and see if it works. I'm on android so I don't have the app. I'm using Chrome.
  10. I keep getting a message that I am not online and try again when I am. I'm trying from my phone so I am of course online but just including for completeness. BTW how do I listen in on your amazing taste in music! I love disco accordion.
  11. Actually it is a much more comprehensive filter and last much longer. This actually removes bacteria and viruses from the water as well as medical waste, arsenic and I use optional flouride filters. The original ceramic filters were probably like the Brita but the black ones are superior. I also don't have to replace for 6000 gallons.
  12. I'm in but have not been able to access the spreadsheet. Will do my best to keep you all posted.
  13. Spite is a powerful weapon. As long as it doesn't consume you, weild that spite like Glamdring and knock those goals out. Years ago had a different spite motivation. I never looked so good.
  14. I am actually trying to do just that during my walks. It's still difficult but enjoy the moments I can "check out".
  15. I took the plunge and got a Berkey filter. Initial investment is high but when you consider how many gallons are filtered it is quite reasonable. It can even make the Sin City water delicious. It's worth every penny if I can use it to switch. If you aren't familiar the Berkey is definitely worth researching.
