  1. My main goal is to decrease body fat, at 5'5" and 223 lbs, I think thats easily the greatest threat to my health. I was doing starting strength for a few months at the beginning of the year but I couldn't really tell a big difference in the amount of body fat I might've lost. I think my biggest question is when it comes to losing body fat, should I ignore weight lifting and focus on cardio and diet or is it still possible to lift weights and lose body fat? As much as I hate running, if it`ll do the most good for me, I`ll give it a shot!
  2. Hey gang, the names Zay. After years of being known as "the chubby one" amongst my two other brothers, i've decided its time for a change. I`m 24 year old, 5'5" and around 223 lbs. I went to the doctor for a check-up a few months ago and I have borderline high blood pressure. For someone so young, I shouldn't be like this. I want to look and feel better. Even with a sedentary job that has me working 12 hour shifts, I know I can do better. I hope to be able to look back and joining the forum as my first step in the right direction!
