  1. I've had some back pain during OHP before but a big thing that helped me was recording myself and checking spine alignment. I've noticed my back hurts when I arch the heck out of it and dont keep my core tight. I would wear a belt and contract the heck out of your core and squeeze your glutes.
  2. Advice on your legs hurting early in a run: This is most likely due to lactic acid build up. Some people have a higher ratio of fast twitch to slow twitch muscle fibers thus making running much more natural for them. In order postpone lactic acid build up, I would recommend doing sets of 20-30 on A) Leg Extensions B ) Body weight squats C) lunges D) Hamstring Curls and do wall sits 2-3 times a week. Do 3 sets until you fall from failure. On top of running consistantly it should be no time until you are able to run longer without leg fatigue early on Best of Luck
  3. Strength Training is in fact ideal for losing weight because as you build ore muscle your BMR will increase. Thus allowing you to burn more calories in a shorter time. In order to increase fat loss during resistance training, make sure that you are doing 12-20 reps and keep rest times no longer than 45 seconds. On top of this I would add 90 Min of cardio a week to your regimen. This on top of proper nutrition is going to skyrocket fat loss. Best of luck.
