  1. Howdy Kittykitty93, wishing you friendly greeting from Texas. Like you, I'm starting my journey to a better me in 2018 and I would be honored to share my blunders and success' as the year moves on. I find that having this accountability with like minded people shooting for the same goal helps ensure the greatest chance for success. While I can't answer the majority of your questions (I'm not a parent yet), I can definitely help with cooking. I've found the greatest success in sticking with healthy eating if I meal prep on the weekends (a personal challenge is to actually eat those meals instead of going out with coworkers but that's a different issue). My issue when starting meal prep was how to keep the food fresh and reheat it so it actually has flavor. I've found success with vacuum seal containers and using the oven to reheat.   2. Greetings my fellow rebels, My name is Kreloth, long time member of the Academy and short time member of the forums. While I started my journey last fall, it quickly fell by the wayside when Harvey struck my city. Thankfully God blessed my family with our home not taking any damage, but my place of work was a different story. Work consumed my life for the remainder of the year and my health goals soon became a distant memory. However, 2018 is a new year and I'm determined to make this the year I changed my health! I realize that this journey is going to be filled with difficult choices and actions while I fight to change many ineffective habits and I hope I can count on my fellow rebels to help keep me accountable. We're all going for the same end goal, so why not help each other climb that mountain to reach it I've identified the following goals(boss battles) for 2018: Complete NF 12 Week Missions - I'm starting week 4 today Form a new habit of working out 3 times a week - Starting my first NF work this Tuesday! Cook my breakfasts and 12 meals each week - Work is making this difficult with the temptations to go out with my coworkers. Any tips would be appreciated! Read 25 books - Finished my 3rd book today.
