  5. I'm currently 118 Kg, my current goal is to, eventually reach 100 Kg, so there's a lot of road to cover. I've never tried a Daily Log, so let's see how this goes. I'll try keep editing whenever I eat or exercise something. Currently I'm travelling for work, so the exercise may be a little more hard to achieve (need to travel every day). However food is "simpler". Exercise None Food Breakfast - Bread with butter and orange juice. - TNT so I don't sleep on the road (will change back for Coffee or Chimarrão, a local pick me up herb tea) Lunch - Lettuce - Beet - Tomatos (2 slices) - Skirt (small portion) - Beef (small portion) - Natural Sausage (small portion) Dinner - Shimeji Snacks - Salted nuts
  6. As a heavy drinker that just joined this program, this is one of my goals. I already stopped drinking regularly at home, and that's a big achievement, however if I go out on a Pub, or start drinking, stopping can be quite hard. Since were I live the Pubs are really expensive, I try to limit myself with how much I'm gonna spend monthly for Pubs. I'm currently down to 200R$, taking that each pint is around 15R$, that's aroung 13 pints a month. Since I don't usually just drink, I'll eat as well and there are some very good meals at the Pubs here, the amount of pints should drop for something around 7-9 pints a month. Now, I know that this means almost 5lts of beer a month, and that is still a lot, but you got to start stopping somehow. That mindset has usually worked for me, there were a few month that I passed this limit, and a few that I didn't. Now I'm taking this to the next level: stop drinking when I'm offered for free, for instance with my father that is borderline alcoholic. That is being very hard, without even blinking I realized that I already drank 4 cans of beer while working at my fathers house. Anyway, one step at a time. The main idea that I wanted to share is that it all depends on what you want to do, and how you're gonna do it. I'm still on the run, let you know when I reach the destination. A quick Edit: I've found out that the type of booze greatly changes what you can do the next day. Beer? I'm no good for at least 2-3 hours after waking up. Whiskey? I'm ok after 1 hour or so. Wine? I'm ok as soon as get up (if the wine is good, otherwise I'm dead for the next 24 hours at least).
  7. Yeah, I've downgraded it for 1Kg a week, let's see how this works. I'm also thinking on getting back to speed skating and at least walk a little more during the week...let's see how that works. Thank you all for your help!
  8. Hello all, I'm starting now with Nerd Fitness and I've been struggling for some time with weight loss. Just a little background story of myself, I'm 34 years old, always did some martial arts, american football and even speed skating as a sports. It's been since I was 22 that I haven't been with less then 100 Kg and that never really bothered me (I had a lot of muscle, and some fat). However, as of right now I have 120 Kg, almost no muscle (only fat) and almost no time for sports that I like, wife expecting a kid, work being like hell. Anyway, almost all excuses and really not a lot of time right now. That being said, I'm trying to loose some weight, I have a target of reaching back 100 Kg and was thinking of loosing 2 Kg/month, do you all think this is possible or not? One of my biggest issues was always putting some very hard goals, not reaching and abandoning it all. In advance, thank you all for your help and time (and sorry for the bad English, being from Brazil this is not my mother language).
