  1. Hi there. I stumbled here months ago but didn’t join. Not sure why this place popped into my head today, but I’m taking it as a sign that I should be here. A little about me: I’m a 30 something year old stay at home wife and mom. I homeschool and have 3 kids - a boy -12 and 2 girls - 5 and 9 months. My biggest struggle in consistency both with nutrition and exercise. I have 2 main reasons for wanting to get in shape. The first is that I am still holding on to all my pregnancy weight. I’m have 200 lbs on my 5’8” frame and I’m not at all happy with how it looks. The 2nd reason is that I coach my son’s homeschool basketball team and just spent the last 7 months telling them how important conditioning is so I feel like a huge hypocrite. Some other reasons would include that in high school I was an athlete and I spent 2 years after my first kid working in a gym so I’m no stranger to be fit. Because of my experience, I’ve done many different kinds of exercise and now a fan of bodyweight and mobility training. I just want to move better and get leaner. I’m hoping to use this place for some accountability.
