    First Challenge

    Hi, all! This is my first NF challenge. I also just started a 40-day yoga program with nutritional plan, so my goals are: 1. to do yoga everyday as part of the program (I'm two days in already) 2. to reduce the sweets, desserts, and processed, fatty foods in my diet (which is vegetarian) while adding more green foods, especially the veggies from my CSA, and 3. to log at least ten miles walking my dogs every week, using my Fitbit to keep track. (Ever since my older dog started needing to be walked separately from the younger dog [since he can't keep up anymore], I've had a hard time re-establishing a routine. The ten mile plan is my first phase, so to speak, and eventually I'd like to increase our mileage.) Right now I'm about 170 lbs and 28% body fat. Almost forgot tracking! Goal 1, A level: STR +1, STA +2, DEX +2 -- If there's exigent circumstances and I can only do 38-39 sessions, I get a B and STR +1, DEX +2 only. Otherwise, nothing. Goal 2, A level: CON +3, CHA +1 -- I'll assess my diet every week as part of the program, and if I let CSA veggies go to waste one week, I drop to a B (CON +2, CHA +1), two weeks drops me down to a C (CON +2), and otherwise, nothing. Goal 3, A level: STR +1, DEX +1, STA +1, CHA +1 -- If I miss one week, I drop to a B and lose the STA and WIS points. Otherwise, nothing. ETA: I just realized I forgot to be clear about my "life goal" for this challenge. Part of the yoga program I'm doing involves weekly meetings and twice-daily meditation, so that is my life goal – to attend all the meetings and to complete all of the daily meditations. All or nothing for WIS +2.
