    Today's plan is Upper Body Compound Exercises. I'm not a 100% which exercises I'll be doing as I have to create a new workout plan, but for now, I'll wing it as I do best.

     

    P.S. I've been gathering new equipment to assist on my journey. See?

  3. Hey fam, it's been a minute.

     

    I, um, had some hard shiz going on and let my progress go to deal with some other things. 

     

    I'm back now, restarting the game once again from today. Keto diet, workout plan, here we go. 

     

    Today's weigh in is 185lbs.

    Short term goal is 30lbs down.

    Long term goal is 60lbs.

  5. Good Morn, Noon, Eve, one and all! This nerd has a goal to obtain! To become healthier person for my family and for myself. I want to be able to play with my kids and feel good marrying the king I love; for the latter, I only have 6 months to achieve this goal. I am an extremely self-conscious Queen with many mental and physical wounds to overcome. A mother of three; to two handsome princes, and a darling princess. I weigh in around 180lbs at 5'2" tall. My goal is to lose 50lbs to get back to my pre-baby weight of 130lbs. In order to do this, I have taken upon myself the Diet of Keto as well as plan to combine this with cardio and compound exercises. I don't have access to the Arms and Armory so I will have to train at home. Any and all advise is welcome. Thank you.
  6. Hey everybody, Happy New Year! It might be cliche but I've started my weight-loss journey today because New Year, New Me, right? Yeah. Today, I've weighed myself at 172lbs which makes me think that my scale is really broken because I've weight between 180-185lbs for over a year now and 184lbs was my last weigh in just two days ago. Oh well. From here on out, I'll weigh in on Monday mornings and start keeping a record of it. So, no exercise today but Keto! I've had bacon and green beans followed by more bacon... Not the best meal, am I right? So what are some keto friendly meal suggestions?

  7. I plan on buying some equipment as such when I can. Financially, my family’s in a rut though so it’ll have to wait. Squats and push ups are what Im looking at the most. I want to find some core exercises as well. I think I’ll start a thread tomorrow as I begin my journey and keep track it. Thanks for the advice.
  8. Isaac, keto can be strict. You’re only allowed a certain number of carbs a day. Around 20 if you have low activity levels and up to around 40 if your highly active. Rubik, that $35 is daily if you don’t have a membership. I would be ecstatic if there was a YMCA here but there’s not and Planet Fitness is 45mins away. So do I have to resort to finding exercises to do at home and learning what furniture I can use, lol.
  9. That’s sweet. I would love some exercise dice! As far as advice goes, when I went to the gym, I brought my phone and headphones and just got into my own musical and mental zone. Where I live currently, the gym membership is $35+ depending on the type you get. I unfortunately can’t afford a membership as I’m unemployed due to disinclined and as of October, my fiancé lost his job. Isaac, as far as diets go, run the keto diet usually and I’m going to pick it back up. The first time I was doing it, I lost 10lbs in two weeks. Rubik, I might just do that. It’s been hard to get motivated as I’m getting over being sick.

  11. Hi Isaac! I’m going to be doing combination exercises that work multiple muscle groups as well as five minute cardio beforehand and thirty minute cardio afterwards. What’s your strategy?
  12. I was honestly going to write something here but anxiety got the better of me, so, hi.... Going to try to lose some weight. Give advice, encouragement, and hopefully get the same. Yay.
