  1. Oh yum! I have almost zero patience for cooking, but love Thai food AND Seafood, so... I feel like you just gave me the crafting instructions of perfection!
  2. Greetings! I'm often known online as IceRose. It was a name I gave my very first WoW character (who also happened to be a druid), that ended up being my main (BOOMkin ftw!), and then just ended up being the name I used when I wasn't using the one on my birth certificate... which is "Brandy." I miss playing WoW, but I sometimes get to play Castle Crashers with my kids (7 and 4), so that's pretty cool. Since becoming a mom I have become a pro at binge-watching ALL. The. Shows. Playing WoW, I used to forget to eat, so I lost weight. (Guild runs were my diet.) But, in front of the TV... so much mindless eating. On top of being a mom and a nerd, I'm also a professional musician. (Clarinet is my main, sax is my second, and then the others I'm just mediocre at.) I'm also a Montessorian... I teach in a kindergarten/1st grade classroom at the Montessori charter school my son attends. On top of managing my marriage, raising kids, and teaching, I've also been helping out more and more as my 90 year old grandfather is able to do less and less for himself. The last few weeks have made me realize I REALLY need to get stronger again because pulling him out of a chair is quite a job! Oh yeah... and I need to lose about 100 pounds... ish. That's kinda' my overall goal, but it's overwhelming and kinda' scary. Lately, my goal is a bit more NSV: I want to be able to fit comfortably (relatively) in roller coasters again... especially in the one that used to be called "Top Gun" at Great America. (I don't remember what it's called now, but I don't fit in it anymore. I'm sorta' assuming the next 4 week challenge starts on Jan 1?? My 2-3 small quests: 1. Get more water down my gullet! Specifically, a min. of 48 oz. per day. 2. Eat more vegetables! I'm going to do the "plate method" for at least 1 meal/day, focusing on getting at least half my meal to be vegetables at least once/day. 3. Move my body! IceRose was svelte and agile. She could travel long distances without getting tired. But she could also turn into a cat, a bear, an owl thing, and a cheetah... oh and she was fictional. I can't do any of those things, but I can move my body daily. I'm going to mix it up with the NF Beginner Bodyweight Workout I just printed out and walking the dog in the neighborhood for preferably increased distance/time. I may not be a tank or damage for realsies, but I can pretend. ;-)
