My biggest recommendation is surround yourself with people who are vegetarian/ vegan too. A lot of people fall off due to not having the support to stay on it. It is a healthy lifestyle if done right. I have and tried so many new vegetables that I would never considered being on a regular diet. One other thing that matters a lot, is flavor . Learn to to season and cook your veggies. No one wants to eat the same bland meal over and over. Get fun and creative with it. The vegan/vegetarian diet is being adopted by many athletes all over the world who have no issues getting the nutrition they need. Just do your own research and enjoy the journey .
