  1. Ended up making a ham & muenster omelet on a bed of fresh spinach because just talking about it is motivation sometimes. I couldn't decide between meat or veggies and I think keeping the spinach outside the omelet made me eat like three times as much of it, so win-win I guess.
  2. Breakfast this week has mainly been Greek yogurt and fresh fruit. I would like to do something more savory for my next grocery shop, but hardly anything savory is quick. Hard-boiled eggs wouldn't be too bad to make ahead of time, I guess. I actually love to cook, but just making myself something to eat in the morning is a tough sell for me. Usually when I make breakfast it's several hours (and coffees) after I get up.
  3. You're doing great so far! Fast food is a hard habit to kick. I'll have to read through Miracle Morning again. I know I have it somewhere and a morning routine is one of my eventual goals.
  4. Our goals are pretty similar for this challenge. (Including being a week late.) I'd like to work on cleaning up, too. I'm glad you're feeling up to the challenge this time around. You're off to a good start!

  10. So obviously I’m over a week late in posting, but I’ve been keeping track of my challenge in the meantime. I’ve been here on and off before but it’s time to be on again. Hi. I’m Cody, I’m 35 and I am, in the grand scheme of things, a pastry chef and in school for Hotel & Restaurant Management. I’m not currently working and took the summer off classes, and not being in the kitchen full time has changed my daily activity levels quite a bit. I used to be pretty active in yoga and Pilates, but really haven’t gotten any exercise in a few years now. My ‘main quest’ is definitely depression related at this point, and I’ve chosen a few light physical exercises and changes to get back on track. Diet My diet honestly isn't too bad right now, so I'm choosing only one food goal that I am currently struggling with; eating an actual breakfast that is relatively healthy instead of leftovers or, more often, absolutely nothing for most of the day. My goal is to eat breakfast every day of the challenge. Eat Breakfast [0/35] Exercise My life has become very sedentary in isolation, so I have two fairly light exercise goals for this challenge. One is to get outside and go for a walk three times a week. The other is to get out the yoga mat and do some stretching at least every other day. Take a Walk [0/15] Yoga #EveryOtherDamnDay [0/17] Level Up Your Life One of my biggest struggles currently is a lack of concentration, and doing things like being unable to focus long enough to post this challenge for a week straight. I’ve been paying for the Headspace app for over a year now, and I would like to actually get daily use out of it. Headspace [0/35]
  11. Good job! It's interesting seeing so many water challenges at really different amounts. Ours are about the same, I count two 750ml/25oz fills of my Swell bottle, so 50oz.
  12. I try to meditate every morning and generally have to wait for the cats to settle on/near me to start. Fuzzy helpers are the best and worst. Good job this week! I know I should try something like that alarm but I just can't make myself do it.
