  1. Blind spots? Try a truckie falling asleep at the wheel at 140 kilometres an hour, then leaking oil all over the road. I'm in physical therapy at the moment, I tore my radioulnar ligament, and it's taking some time to heal, so I've just been doing some cardio.
  2. Oh it is, but was an unfortunate and unavoidable accident on my motorbike. =\ Thanks Marrior. (:
  3. Finally! I got the cast off this morning, looking forward to getting into it tomorrow.

  8. Heya Elle! Welcome to the Rebellion. You sound like someone who needs to read "Power of Habit" by Charles Duhigg.
  9. Illc & Ghost; I've been running for a week just to get my fibres used to some new strain (I study Medicine, so I'm learning so much about muscles right down to the molecular level, it really helps with all this). I'll be following rank 1 of the body weight brigade (starting tonight): Push ups, Chin ups Bodyweight squats, Close-hand push ups, Lunges. Planks. Dak-Attak, I am a full vegetarian, no one can be 'half' a vegetarian. I eat eggs, drink milk, I just don't partake in the eating of flesh or subsequent animal products. I have a big tub of Gold Standard 100% WHEY protein powder. My caloric goals per day are: Calories : 3100-3200 Fat: 75-130g Protein: 170 - 230g Carbs: 250-230g Thanks for all your lovely info though .
  10. 4th April (Running) Okay, so I was determined to go for a run, only before realising it was 8oC outside. could barely run 2km without stopping and throwing up (Not ever doing this again). Distance: 2.01km (1.2 miles) Time: 10'54" Pace: 5'25"/km
  11. There's no better feeling than seeing those small gains, awesome job man . Subbing to this.
  12. ^ +1 to that! That's so good to hear man, good for you! !
  13. Boycotted for a Vegetarian wedding? That's insane! Maybe your flat-mate is just doing it because he's bored? I think you should do the addressing thing head on. I mean if he respects you, he'll respect how you feel too, and a year is just ridiculous. There's not, just the two of us I believe! Are you at university at all?
  14. Hey Huntress, Canberrian, right? I can relate to what you're going through. I've just recently turned Vegetarian and am getting a serious amount of negativity. I summed up the courage to talk back to my friends, and since then I haven't had any negative comments. Have you tried talking to your room-mate? Also, how long has he been doing this?
  15. 2nd, 3rd April (Rest) Started the 'Bulk Up' Meal plan though, god it's hard starting to eat so much. From now on, I'm not going to record rest days.
  16. My girlfriend told me she was pregnant as an April Fools, is it sad that your post gave me MORE of a heart-attack?
  17. 1st April (Running): Distance: 3.86 km (2.4 miles) Time: 20'49" Pace: 5'23"/km
  18. Woooo! You go man! Don't go slacking off, I'm following this. I'm not sure pictures once every week is wise, once a month would be better so you're not discouraged if you don't see results right away. But if you feel you wanna do that don't let anyone stop you. ^^
  19. 31st March (Running): Distance: 3.4km (2.1 miles) Time: 21'16" Pace: 6'15"/km
  20. So I went to Rebel Sport yesterday and bought: - Adidas Supernovas - Nike running T - Nike running shorts Day one pics:
  21. Hey everyone! So, I'm essentially a newbie. I'm a 1st year Med student in Australia, 6 foot 2, 64 kg (pretty skinny, see picture), I just turned 18, and moved five hours away from home to another city. Bottom line: I'm looking to bulk, feel better about myself, make some cool friends, and get my girlfriend to do a triple-take next time I see her in six weeks. (Long distance). I haven't done ANY proper exercise in two years (not even running 50m), I'm also a Vegetarian, but I have no problems with my caloric needs (Chia Seeds<3) Basically, I'm looking for some support, as I don't have any at all. So if you're out there, lend a helping hand. ^^ Thanks all, ~Brooke
  22. Went for my first run in two years! Feels so good!
