  1. VERY LATE UPDATE because the week after a holiday is rough PROGRESS - WEEK ONE Goal 1: Limit 2 sugary drinks per week Success! I had about a third of a bottle of Diet Dr Pepper that was leftover from a previous vending machine trip, and a Coke (one! singular! glass!) on the 4th because Murica. Goal 2: Limit 3 fast food trips per week ULTRA Success! No trips! Is it because I have no money? Yes! Does it still count? Also yes! Goal 3: Do ANY kind of physical activity 4 days per week Barely success! I counted walking to the mailbox in my apartment complex, and walking around the grocery store. Baby steps. Goal 4: Find 3 articles of clothing that don't make me feel amazing and put them in the giveaway bag No progress yet, but that's fine. This is more of a do-it-all-in-one-go goal.
  2. The hardest part of starting over, for me, is this first round of ~doing the thing~. Setting those attainable goals that seem so darn easy on paper, maybe too easy, but finding out they're actually a pretty big challenge for me right now. I'm replaying Horizon Zero Dawn right now, so theming my challenge around that seems appropriate The Sun Rises... Hey hi hello. I'm Kalen. I'm a college student studying performing arts. A few years ago I got a wild hair to get TOTALLY FIT. I went 100% keto and was on a prescription appetite suppressant. I lost about 50 pounds over the course of a couple months. (Note to anyone who thinks this is awesome: it is bad.) Obviously, that didn't stick. I didn't gain everything back, but I have been slipping into old bad habits lately and I'm not super thrilled about my general flabbiness. I'm also having some not great feelings about being out of breath all the time in dance classes, and not being able to express myself with my body in the way that I want to due to fitness/strength/flexibility limitations. Multiple Quests Received! I'm keeping everything very, very simple this first go round. Success breeds more success! Goal 1: Limit 2 sugary drinks per week (iced coffee, soda, etc.) Goal 2: Limit 3 fast food trips per week ("just getting a snack" still counts as a trip!) Goal 3: Do ANY kind of physical activity 4 days per week (seriously, ANYTHING) Goal 4: Find 3 articles of clothing that don't make me feel amazing and put them in the giveaway bag
