  1. My computer broke. Took me a little while to fix that. Now I'm doing some dog-sitting. I bit the inside of my mouth early last week. It's bad enough that I can't eat very much or it will open again, so I haven't been eating as much as I should. I'm exhausted. I haven't been running either. I need someone I can run with.
  2. I'm 6'4" and 150lb. I'm mostly sedentary except for running. So either my body only extracts half the calories I eat, which I think would be absurd, or I have a stupid fast metabolism. As for the 6000 number, if I don't eat close to at least that many calories everyday I am constantly hungry, get really bad hunger pangs, and a massive brain fog. The blessing of being able to eat as much as I want to comes with the curse of having to eat like I'm 300 pounds of pure muscle.
  3. I'm using a cloth mask. It's three layers thick, so I guess I get to work out my diaphragm now.
  4. I did a run earlier today. Mt Lemmon is currently on fire. It's pretty bad. There's so much smoke you can't see the top half of the mountain anymore. Naturally a lot of that smoke has made it's way over to where I live because I'm only 30 minutes away. I decided to where a mask for the run. I did not have an asthma attack like I usually do on just about every run. However it wasn't easy to breathe either. A couple hours later it donned on me. This how normal people feel when they run. So now I'm wondering if I've just been abusing my body for years on end without purpose by training wrong. Anyways, here's challenge #3. Quest #1 - Actually Eating Enough Recently I've been eating more than I have previously. I'm also hungrier than I have been previously. My plan is to get my diet back to what it was before quarantine. Which looked kind of like this. Breakfast - Around 2400 calories; usually just a bunch if granola. Lunch/Snack - Anywhere between 500-1000 calories midday to stave till dinner; Sometimes I make protein shake too. That goes here. Dinner - Around 3000 calories; Usually where I get most of my protein. My goal each day is around 6000 calories. Quest #2 - Running Everyday My plan is to run everyday no matter how little. I also plan on wearing a mask for every run for the foreseeable future. Quest #3 - Making More Music The goal here is to have a mini goal each week. Whether It be writing lyrics, writing a melody, harmonizing a song, arranging a song, recording a demo, or learning a new song for cello. I will try to get momentum in creation of anything. Also, here's another meme for y'all.
  5. I've been inactive here for a little bit, but the challenge is almost over. Quest#1: I only missed about 3 days the whole five weeks, so that's pretty good. Quest#2: I forgot to eat breakfast or dinner only twice, and I'm back over 150. Quest#3: I did it. Go me.
  6. Thanks for the encouragement! I've missed going to the chiropractor so many times during the last few months. My backs going back to what it was in the fall.
  7. No, my speed run of the game minecraft dungeons was 2.5 hours. Sorry for being confusing. I got a run in yesterday, even though my back was hurting.
  8. Ran monday and today. Yesterday I did the speed run. Got two and a half hours start to finish. It was exhausting.
  9. Yes. The first few minutes of the run on monday were iffy, but I haven't had any problems since. Chiropractors are great.
  10. Did runs on wednesday and friday. Messed around with streaming on youtube.
  11. Ah yes, kitty litter. There's nothing quite like an over glorified bag of sand to apply strain to your muscles by moving it.
  12. No run today. Just some strength training focused on the shoulders and upper back.
  13. Went on a 40 min. run today. I had a lot of trouble breathing, but my back completely fine.
  14. After a first week fail due to back issues I'm gonna be back to my original goals. I'll lower distance and times to avoid aggravating my back further, and practice live streaming on youtube so I know how to do it when the time comes.
  15. Sounds like a great problem to have!
