  1. Hello everyone how are you? Let me say for starters that life has been pretty rough on my body and I am only 27. When I was in Highschool I thought I was in the best shape of my life at 116 and could run for miles and excelled at tennis. One thing always lingered that I was tired of being small and wanted to put on muscle. So I tried doing everything I could in college and I did dirty bulks and while I put on weight it was all fat. So I would slim down and try again. Well a few years later I felt in the best shape of my life with these group of guys I lifted with. Then an injury at my old job happened and I had to do a year of physical therapy. I was depressed I couldn’t lift anything in my lower back had issues and I was on anxiety and depression medication. I gained a ton of fat and have stretch marks now and just am very unhappy. I got of some of the meds and I am happy but unsatisfied. I workout 4x a week doing compound movements and reduced my diet down to 1500 a day in an effort to lose the fat along with intermittent fasting. I took a look in the mirror today and I felt powerless, I had stretch marks everywhere, the stomach fat, and only some muscle. I’m starting a new job so I’m going to go to a new gym and great trainer for advice but I also wanted advice here. I currently weigh 169.2, I still workout 4x a week, I watch what I eat my diet is pretty good and I hardly ever drink beer or pop. I just want to know the right direction I’ve been told to keep fasting and lose the weight then I should bulk up but slowly and put on muscle. I’m just tired of being small and skinny. I want to have muscles and hopefully one day look like Greg Plitt. Any advice is welcome! Thank you!
