Hey awesome nerds.This is a goodbye of sorts.Over the past year and a half, you have been incredibly supportive in my chronically inconsistent attempts to get strongerand healthier.I, however have been growing more and mopre depressed, if you've noticed.Over the past month it has gotten really bad, and some old bubbling issues started swirling and swirling, and things exploded.I had a breakthrough and my mood and motivations shot up. Here's the part that might seem a little weird. I think my gender identity is female.I've been running from that thought for at least 25 years. I would much rather things make sense without having to admit that, but life isn't fair.Once I admitted that to myself, my mood skyrocketed and life became easier. I haven't had a screaming fit, and I've even been showering. I don't really have it figured out.Yeah, so the corpulent gargantuan depressed ogre that has been grumbling about here was an amazon in disguise. Of course I'm still trapped in the form of an ogre, and any changes other than losing a lot of weight are not planned at all.What is helping is being semi-anonymously open about it with a very supportive group of people. So yeah, my posting persona has changed. I've decided I felt dishonest about having created a second persona,so I'm just letting you all know where GrimmThing went.So, Relunctant Amazon says hello.My re-introduction thread:My New Challenge:

I had a discussion with a coach about my goals, and he strongly suggested I stop the linear progression, keep lifting to maintain, but focus on weight loss and conditioning
I'm thinking of switching gears now.

Last week I finally had enough courage to go into the weight room at a not too crowded time, so I figured I'd go at the same time today. Before putting on my work out clothes a sneaked a peak and no one was in the weight room. Which felt perfect
After my warming up I went to the squat rack (or at least the thing I belief is a squat rack) for, well, squats. But, walking into the room i see no bar there. There were however giggles. A what looked to be hen party of 15-ish girls commandeered all bars in the room to do the lambada and something resembling a terrible pole dance.
I was flabbergasted and having no clue what to say decided to do squats with dumbells instead. Later a guy did go to them and asked for a bar to which they just replies they were also members so they had every right to use the bars as long as they wanted.
Pole dance -> Broken Bars -> angry management.

Totals are hard, I'm redoing SS after a long, atrophying layoff.
620 is what I can calculate to start off of my worksets.
That will go up about 100 lbs over the weeks.
Volume:13,000 lbs.

Doing a massive safety overhaul on my squat stands. It should triple the stability when racking and finally give me good spotter arms.
Oddly, I was about to post this exact post again.

I'm heavy and weak enough I cant even do inverted rows. I can do "leaning rows" at a 45 degree angle with rings or a trapeze kinda pullup bar I made.

Tried that... 100 lb dumbells fell off the bench support onto my head.
