  1. Well they have the ultimate run ina 30F so I may exchange and see if that first better. The ultimate run looks like it means business. On here https://www.sportsshoes.com/product/sho117/shock-absorber-5044-ultimate-run-women's-sports-bra-2019/ it says certain styles come up small so they suggest going up a band size. Now I don't get why they can't just make all the bras fit the size they are meant for. Why make a sports bra and call it 32c if actually it fits people who are 30c better. This is why I hate bra shopping. I can only do it on the internet so getting the right size is hard. Which is why I just bought two new bras exactly the same size and style as the two bras I used to have which are now less elastic than they were. I am becomign a creature of habit. The bra I have fits my boobs nicely, it's just getting in and out that's hard.
  2. I'm doing the workout here https://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/the-ultimate-resistance-band-workout-how-to-train-with-exercise-bands/ I have put them into the jefit app. Not all the exercises are in there so I've put some as a cable version just so I have the exercise as a place holder. I keep the website open just to check a couple and see how I'm meant to do them. OK so second week and I've done 3 workouts a week both weeks. I've been doing the plank app too. I think I missed a day or two but that's no big deal. On the whole I'm doing well and starting a new habit.
  3. Is it just me or does this not fit. I seem to have bits sticking out the side by my underarms. And a fair bit of cleavage. I could get it on without being a contortionist which was an improvement. But I'm not totally convinced there should be bits sticking out the side and stuff. Do you all have underarm fat in sports bras too? I ordered online because finding my size in a real shop is pretty much impossible and it was reuced to £10.
  4. I wanted to have another option so that I wasn't doing the same workout all the time. I'm doing it three times a week and have no idea at all how to design another workout. But for now I'll stick to the NF bands and then also work in the NF bodyweight and Angry Birds workout. At the minute I'm still on my knees for pushups. I've not yet exercised enough to progress to full ones. When the guy at the gym got me doing lunges with about 3kg weights I had about 3 day DOMS so I'm still very much a newbie to all this and really need to build up some muscle. I'm watching the NF videos too so I make sure I'm doing all the excercises properly.
  5. OK so Im into my second week. I've been doing the 30 day plank app each day and I did the resistance band workout 3 times. Going well so far, the trick is keeping to it.
  6. In summer I stay with family so have to build up some sort of a no equipment workout. I also don't have tons of room where I am staying. In summer I normally have a bit more free time so that's when I dabble with starting things. This past year though I have been going to a gym once a week while my son did football (soccer). I have a set of normal resistance bands and the mini ones. At the minute I have built into an app the https://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/the-ultimate-resistance-band-workout-how-to-train-with-exercise-bands/ workout and I do that three times a week. But I've also seen this https://www.nbcnews.com/better/lifestyle/one-month-resistance-band-workout-you-can-do-anywhere-ncna965461 The other thing I do is a daily plank app. I don't know what I'm doing really so that's why I like to get stuff from the internet. Normally at the gym the instructor is really helpful and tells me what to do, he's great because it's a very small village gym. So anyone else have some pointers on what I can do in a small space with no equipment except my bands. I'm 5'4", female and about 125lb. I have a bit of bellyfat which I can see, my thighs and arse have also aquired some fat too over my 30's and the 4 pregnancies. I don't notice my thighs and bum so much in the mirror it's only that clothes I wore in my non pregnant 30's don't fit. I'm 41 so my aim is to build muscle because at this age my body will start to lose it if I don't do something.
  7. I do like coleslaw and never thought of making my own mayo for it. For a while we made our own alioli but had to stop because we were eating it like yogurt!! I've got some hummus coming in the next supermarket delivery. The kids love it too, even dip apples in it which is just wierd. The supermarket here does a really nice cous cous but I need to learn some good recipes because anything premade will be full of sugar. I've also got some falafel coming too which I really like. I figure those with a salad will make a nice picnic lunch. I;m going to try some cauliflower and brocoli bites things. I think making vegetable based flafal bite things might be the way to go too. I think there's a better word for them. Portable patty type things. Things like these broccoli cauliflower tots. https://www.itv.com/thismorning/articles/wean-in-15-cook-at-home-with-joe-wicks
  8. That's a good idea. I'll have to try that. Wearing underwired bras while breastfeeding isn't recommended either but the special feeding bras are non wired and awful. Proper awful. I actually cried when I tried one on. I just don't think boob should touch skin or it gets sweaty and uncomfortable.
  9. I do like the idea of the panache one with underwire. Yeah sweaty boobs touching is not nice, I'm not a fan of the mono boob. I've just found the shock absorber reduced down to £10, and they've got some good walking shoes for me and trainers reduced so I'm going to put a bit of an order in. I still don't get how because it's a gym walking round in just your bra is OK. I'm new to the whole gym and working out not in your house thing. But really walking round in a bra? I think it would have to be really hot for me to get my muffin top out.
  10. I am UK 30E, not sure what that is in American sizes but I am slender but have quite big boobs. My current bra takes a bit to get on and you need to be a contortionist. So ideally I'd like to get one which I can open up fully to get on normally in a normal amount of time and not risk getting stuck in it. I really need decent support though. What type of bras do you all wear that support a larger cup size but smaller band size, and I can get on.
  11. My exercise bands have arrived so the challenge begins. Fitness Resistance band workout 3 times a week and the plank workout app. Diet Healthy picnics. In summer I take the kids out a lot so we have a lot of picnics. It's too tempting to just do sandwiches and carbs. So I need to be creative and also find some interesting options too. Green tea. Life Finish website and start blog
  12. Yeah I'm really lucky with the gym in the village. Obviously it's only small, but perfect for me. Anything too large would be intimidating. The guy helps set up the machines for me. Literally tells me which machines to go on and when. It's been a great introduction to gyms. Hopefully after summer I can get back into it.
  13. I turned 40 last year and have always been skinny, 112 lb and 5'4". I know I had a free ride and made the most of puddings and buffets. My 30's were 4 pregnancies so I have been pregnant or breastfeeding most the time. I could put weight on and know it will come off. I currently weigh 126lb and have. A bit of a mum tum. For me it's not the scales, it's realising my free ride ended and I have to think about things. I live in Spain and me and OH used to have half a bgaette each as a sandwich at lunch. Then we cut that down. The. I started to have two poached eggs on one slice of bread. Breakfasts I changed to oatmeal with banana or apple so no refined sugar. I have cut sugar in my tea to a flat teaspoon it hesped. I don't do loads wrong and don't want to lose a lot. So I'm not going to make huge changes. But I am now getting fit. This year my son started football so once a week I went to our town gym while waiting for him. It costs 2€ and as a gym newbie the instructor tells me what to do all the time. We spend summer in the UK so having more time I do some off and on bodyweight angry bird stuff. But I have never kept it up. I've ordered some exercise bands so I can workout and do some strength training here. I just need to start and carry on. Bing self employed and having 3 boys occupies pretty much every waking moment. Summer is a bit of free time or not as busy so let's see how long I keep it up.
