  1. Was the same for me really. July to November I was just home, doing whatever and still could not fit some reading in between my... bingewatching youtube while doing solitaire dailies... xD Important stuff, you know. xD Relatable. And "games and bad food" being some kind of a "treat" that one looks forward to doesn't make it any better. Good luck nonetheless. Interviewing is a skill to be practiced like any other. If this one doesn't yield anything, at least it was some practice for the next one.
  2. Hello friend!! It's just another habit/routine/thing to schedule... (and I noticed the same when I came back for a little bit last challenge. "read and post forums" was not on my radar anymore and didn't have a good time to fit it in...) Good! Baby steps. Life did not get like this in a day, it will also not change to something different in a day. This is nice! You are doing great, one day at a time, you got this.
  3. Some people find gentle movement to be helpful, but I know it can be super hard to move at all when in so much pain.. Fingers crossed that the new diet can bring you some relief. This sounds nice, what else does it entail besides chick peas?

Now to take that and make it a "pack meal for work, cook after work" thing. I didn't quite finish the book, but got a lot done so that was nice as well. I'll read some more now, maybe get another chapter or two in just to feel a bit more prepared... Packing... lol... I spent way too much time playing guildwars and waaay too little time doing anything useful, but it was fun. xD Still have a week to read my book... Gonna prioritize reading for the next week. Packing can wait. Reading is more important. At least food is fine. But wow, I don't think I'll keep taking ALL the supplements. Some of them are fine, some just... are not tasty and I tried putting them in everything so far and... idk. Might be a bit much anyway. (I have some because I'm almost vegan - will keep those, they are fine. I have some to help some health related symptoms and I'm not sure about those... xD Of course will finish the month with them - I got enough to last for 30 days, so wanna try that and then see how I feel, but atm I'm not too happy with them xD).

  12. Thursday! Was indeed as successful as I hoped for. Well almost. xD I got a lot of reading done and no packing but it's fine. I met up with my current landlady (because we are friends and go do dance class together) so talk the details about leaving the old flat, so that counts? xD I noticed I have trouble with decluttering and packing because I don't know yet how much space we will really have etc etc. There will be a LOT new furniture and we can't measure anything or move anything before December. And then can take easily all of December to move stuff. And it's not that far, could totally be done by moving a box or something a day...   13. I love Audio books!! My audio book series of choice atm is Wheel of Time, so that will take a while... xD xD Awwwww, thank you!!! Oh I know exactly how I feel wearing it. Warm and cozy and like a 80 year old grandma. Or like Mary Poppins. It has some Mary Poppins vibes... xD
  14. I have this with SO MANY THINGS. And once I get started, it's great and I love it, but actually getting started? Can take hours, days, weeks... and then next time I wanna do it, it's the same thing again. Inertia is really hard. xD This, was about to suggest the same (try it out, if it feels bad, you can always take them out again?).
  15. Hehe, I know that feeling. The past days. Tuesday Was nice. Had my last day at my office job, extended lunch break with my lunch buddies, all nice. But that left not much time for the rest of my challenge objects. I did manage to get my eating/supplements in and I finally finished reading that chapter (plus took some notes and stuff, proper studying style). Not really any decluttering but... I did bring my Homeoffice PC back to the company and that is one huge thing that is not standing in the way anymore, so I count that as a win. And then I made a detailed plan what I wanted to do on my first free day, Wednesday... Wednesday ... welllll that plan did not hold up long. xD I slept horribly, had super weird dreams all night and woke up more dead than I was when I went to bed. Did the food stuff, did some laundry and that was all I got done that day. Spent all day watching youtube and doing solitaire/minesweeper dailies of the past weeks... 🙄 So I just crossed out the date in my planner and wrote Thursday over it. I did teach my classes in the evening and that was fun and nice, but was totally wiped afterwards.   16. OOooh, Flylady is great, used to do that routine as well a decade ago. But at least back then, I felt like it was more geared towards non-working (or at least not fulltime working) people. But still, it helped me a lot and "shine your sink" is a thing I still do to this day. You can do this.

  20. Monday! I did a little bit of everything. xD Morning routine is still easy. It was super cozy in bed with the cat so I lingered a bit longer than usually, but got everything done just fine (having a morning routine that can partially be done IN BED is awesome. xD). Got my three meals, got all the supplements as well. This time I properly read in the afternoon, again not a whole chapter (it's a very long chapter and more studying than reading anyway xD), but I got something done and that counts. Declutter-wise I spent about an hour and packed a donation box and sorted some more things out to throw away. I came across a skirt I used to love very much... It's a wine red velvet skirt that is older than me (straight out of late 70ies or early 80ies I think), used to belong to my mom who wanted to get rid of it 15 years ago but I snatched it up and loved it some more for a few years. Haven't worn it in ages, but I just cannot bring myself to give it away. xD It's also this odd thing in between "too old to donate" and "not ratty enough to throw away". xD But it's also very big and heavy and takes a away a lot of space... Not sure yet what to do with it...   22. I used to read for fun and then I took an arrow to the knee... xD Nah, it's a bit of both. Usually before bed I read for fun/falling asleep (currently: the complete works of HP Lovecraft. For sweet dreams. xD xD), and during the day I wanna read a book or two to prepare for my new job starting in 2 weeks. Will be my first job in this field, I just finished the diploma in June, and they seem to have a lot of trust in me, so I wanna be extra prepared... It's a challenge. But one I'm looking forward to.
