  2. Soda has always been a tough one for me. Especially as I use it for energy when I am flagging. Keep up the good work!
  3. Unfortunately the night got away from me, so not going to post in someone else's thread. But stumbling is not a bad thing, as long as you try to keep moving forward. I also did a bit of a good deed/helped myself. I've wanted to have someone come in and help keep the house clean for a while, a messy house seriously stresses me out. A friend of mine is out of work due to the pandemic, so I offered them the job which they were very happy for.   4. So far all is going well, my planning session was a little more developed today. Mainly because I have a plumber coming over tomorrow and need to head to bed early tonight.   5. My roommate and I got one gallon water bottles and keep on each other about drinking them. Love the goals, especially the guitar one. Makes me regret not starting my artistic quest this time.
  6. Thanks guys! So far all all goals have been met for the day! Admittedly my morning planning session was basically me saying "okay what the heck do I need to do today" but still counts! Meditation happened during my first break from work and I killed it a bit when I came back from it.   7. Awesome challenge. I've tried the BuJo before and while it is great for organization, the art just ended up stressing me out too. I went full nerd and print out spreadsheets now.
  8. Long ago I was on this site, and I am back to once again use it! Quest One: The Body is a Temple - Part One Weigh 250pds (306 Current) - Eat Three Meals a Day Why: I suck at eating regularly which leads to impulsive eating as a result and slows my metabolism down. The Plan: The two bad ones are breakfast and lunch, my wife and I eat dinner together. So I will plan to eat breakfast when I wake up (even if it is just cereal) and set a reminder to eat lunch. Having a good or big healthy meal isn't the point here, this is setting the habit so that it can be improved in the future. Reward: I'll have stable energy level and in general be better functioning. Experience: Experience from this will go toward Stamina since regular food improves my general health. Each meal I eat results in me getting 1xp. Quest Two: A Mind like a Sharp Blade - Part One: Master of the Schedule - Daily Planning Session Why: I used to schedule everything and got a lot done. Now I get mentally exhausted by the end of the day and don't know what to do, because past me didn't help out. The Plan: This doesn't need to be a massive thing. I have todoist which will let me review what I need to do for the day. Every morning I'll spend five minutes and read out load what I need to do. Reward: I will be able to utilize my time much better, and feel more in control of my life. Experience: Experience from this will go toward Resolve since I am deciding what I want to do and sticking to it. Every morning planning session will be worth 1xp. Quest Three: A Burning Spirit - Part One: Meditate - Meditate 5 Minutes a Day Why: My willpower improves a lot when I meditate. I usually sit for fifteen minutes, but like the Body goal this is more about establishing a habit. The Plan: After breakfast I will sit for five minutes. I have headspace so will select a five minute meditation on there to keep track of time. Reward: My mind will be clear and I'll be better suited for self improvement and have more self control. Experience: Experience from this will go toward Composure and Resolve (50/50 Split) as this practice helps with both focus and composure. Every session will be worth 1xp. Side Quest: Post on Nerdfitness Why: Accountability!. The Plan: End of the day I will add to this post as well as comment on others. Reward: I'll record what I am doing and build connections on here.. Experience: Experience can be earned for Resolve and for Socialize. For posting here I earn 1xp for resolve, for posting in another's thread I earn 1xp for socialize. So I like character sheets and having a way to reflect the way I do things. So I snagged the Attributes and skills from Chronicles of Darkness for a base and then pulled the Ability benchmarks from Mutants and Masterminds to use (Weird yest but it works). Then for the sake of levels I'll use dnd 5e experience chart. The idea is that 100xp allows me to raise a trait and I use the challenges to get experience. With nine attributes and twenty-one skills I will have plenty of areas to focus on. Below is the current character sheet!
