  1. Less that 200 miles left to Rivendell. It would go a lot faster if I didn't have to work and study and all that.
  2. @Magdalena Ravenclaw - That is rotten, I'm sorry! If you can't find it, I'd either estimate it, or use June's mileage for both May and June, but that's just me.
  3. I'm curious as to what exactly you're asking. I'm vegan, and I struggle with hitting my protein so I add Vega protein, but you're already doing that. For quick healthy meals just keeping a pot of rice and chopped veggies in the fridge and you're halfway there. Add some protein and it's take out without going out. Being vegan I DO have to watch my macros closely, but I find that if I aim for 100g per day and all the veggies I can eat everything kind of works out. Fats and carbs add up quickly. I also HAVE to strength train to see any progress at all.
  4. It's been slow progress because sadly I have to do things besides walk. Sigh... 183 miles in, so there's still progress. Does anyone know how to quantify indoor rock climbing in to measurable distance? I'm expanding my horizons. I already including rowing, kayaking and cycling.
  5. Vegan here too! The PhD don't looks bad really, and 23 of protein in a vegan bar is awesome. Same with the Misfits. The Awesome's start getting higher in sugar, so I don't know about the taste if that's your thing.
  6. It's been almost a month, and I hit 90.34 miles - Whoo! I've included km's rowing on the rowing machine. The goal is to hit at least 4m every day which can be tough between school and work, but Wednesday and I are making real progress. I bought a massive map of Middle Earth, and we check in on the distance from time to time. Looking forward to Bree!
  7. This week it's kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, ginger, lime, and a granny smith apple. All the green...
  8. Honestly however you can get them down is good. The difference in nutrition would be so minimal. I tend to throw everything in raw, but I'm also lazy and cooked greens freak me out.
  9. Like so many things, my journey begins unceremoniously, and without the fanfare it it should receive. I came across this, I thought "I should do that". I bought a map of Middle Earth for my wall and downloaded the spread sheet to edit for myself. I thought I should start mid April, with a send off of prosecco and blister pads. But I sat in my chair last night and thought "I walked today. I should start today." So I did. And I guess I'm off on an adventure. I'll be counting any form of human propulsion as miles traveled, be it by foot, by bicycle or by kayak. Maybe I'll even count laps that I swim. I look forward to seeing you on the road. I don't travel alone, my ever vigilant companion Wednesday will be at my side, wary of strangers and looking for snacks. See you out there!
