  1. 1. Strength train with intervals 3 x week & walk for an hour at least once a week [strength 3, Stamina 1] B- (Didn't make the walk most weeks and only trained twice on 2 weeks) --> Strength 2 2. Paleo/Primal diet, 80% & incorporate intermittent fasting 2 x week [Constitution 5] C+ (Stopped IF halfway through) --> Constitution 3 3. Perform 20 real pushups without stopping [stamina 2, Strength 2] A --> Stamina 2, Strength 2 4. Stop biting my nails [Charisma 2] A --> Charisma 2
  2. 1 week to go - where am I? Diet & Fitness Goals 1. Strength train with intervals 3 x week & walk for an hour at least once a week STR-3 | STA-1 Still making it to strength/cardio class 3x a week, but the walking has been nonexistant - mini fail. 2. Paleo/Primal diet, 80% & incorporate intermittent fasting 2 x week CON-5 Primal diet going very well but started snacking a bit too much on dates and honey and fruit... Began the 21-Day Sugar Detox on Labor Day 3. Perform 20 real pushups without stopping STA-2 | STR-2 20 pushups (on toes, in a row) accomplished!! Still have to stop at the top and rest for a beat after 14 or 15... working on that now. Life Goal 1. Stop biting my nails! CHA-2 Still going strong!
  3. So, we're 10 days into this challenge - let's see where I'm stacking up shall we? Diet & Fitness Goals 1. Strength train with intervals 3 x week & walk for an hour at least once a week STR-3 | STA-1 I've got the interval/strength training part down cold. The group fitness gym I go to uses circuit training for all over conditioning, and has been incorporating a lot of Tabata intervals on everything from the C2 to kettlebells to TRX to floor/ab work to jump-roping... well you get the idea. I didn't get a walk in last week (fail), but got in a long bike ride this week (does that count?) Hoping to get in a walk this week too. 2. Paleo/Primal diet, 80% & incorporate intermittent fasting 2 x week CON-5 So far so good. Been strong primal for over a month now, with maybe once a week alcohol 'cheat' 3. Perform 20 real pushups without stopping STA-2 | STR-2 As of now I can barely hit 8-10. Have a long ways to go. Will start incorporating some random pushups (or wall pushups) throughout the day at the cubicle farm Life Goal 1. Stop biting my nails! CHA-2 Finally working! I hate this habit - I mean if people can stop smoking I can quit mindlessly biting my nails right?!?

  5. Hi all, A bit about me... I'm a 5'5'' female IT professional and pretty darn tired of fitness yo-yoing up and down. I've been both bigger and smaller than I am now, but things are definitely on the higher side of normal. In the past 18 months, I've competed in a fitness competition, dabbled in Crossfit, run a half marathon, numerous 5Ks and a Tough Mudder. In the last 6 months, I've let everything go. I burnt out. I stoped exercising and ate and drank junk. Things progressively deteriorated and, about a month ago, I decided to turn things around. This time, I wouldn't go overboard. I switched back to paleo (for the 3rd time!) but embraced it as a way of life and not a restrictive diet. I've been concentrating on eating real food - so far so good. I started working out again, but not 10 workouts/week like before. My overall goal is to stick to Paleo eating and increase lean mass. Current Weight: 152lbs | 28.9%BF STR-3 | DEX-2 | STA-2 | CON-3 | WIS-3 | CHA-2 Diet & Fitness Goals 1. Strength train with intervals 3 x week & walk for an hour at least once a week STR-3 | STA-1 2.
