  1. Update: Main Quest: This morning was the first morning that I got out of bed and did my workout. Nothing amazing but I got a workout in non-the-less. I also got some healthy food to eat today. So another win for healthy food. I did not count this, but an honorable mention is that I rode my stationary bike for 4 miles last night. I am slowly getting back on track with this quest. baby steps. [1/3 Days] Morning workout [0/3 Days] Abs/Arms workout [1/3 Days] Healthy eating Side Quest: Have not got any studying in for this quest yet, but I hope to do some work on this quest to night. [0/1 Days] Study Social Skills [0/0 Days] Friday approaches [0/0] Required approaches
  2. Main Quest: After setting out a challenge, it is time for me to get back at it. I am still in search of the perfect body according to the Greeks. However, I am going to take on each area with smaller goals until I can make it to my ultimate goal. This is going to take many challenges so I will just list the challenge goal and where I am at currently. Greek Perfection Current Challenge Description Waist Size 30†37.5†35" Need to lose 2.5†Chest Size 42†40†40.5" Need to add 0.5†Biceps Size 15†11†11.5" Need to add 0.5†Thigh Size 23†21.5†22" Need to add 0.5†Calf Size 15†14†14.5" Need to add 0.5†From a quick comparison it is simple to see, I need to lose my gut and work on my arms. So for the next 6 weeks I will focus exclusively on those two areas. Plan: Stick to my daily workout routine Monday - Saturday. Focusing on Cross FitSunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday REST Crossfit Crossfit Crossfit Crossfit Crossfit Crossfit Do arm and ab workout, during any TV watching.Eat 6 healthy meals a day, to help build.Side Quest: In addition to working towards Greek greatness, I will also be working to strike the perfect balance of health, wealth, and love. My main quest handle health, my side quest will focus on love. More specifically, I will work on my social skills so that I can one day find love, and create new friendships. This is a very difficult quest. I am not exactly sure how to create a specific goal for this quest. I will go with having met 2 new friends. Plan: Study ways to improve social skills Monday, Wednesday, Friday.Go out each Friday and make 5 approaches to meet new people.For anyone reading this, what do you think is the best way to improve my specific goals for my side quest? Please, leave a comment if you have suggestions or experience with developing social skills. Thank you
  3. Thank you, for the profile picture comment. The business stuff is moving forward. The company has down sized from 3 to 2. I'm happy I still have a job. We are working feverishly to get things back in order, and going in the right direction. So, I am hoping for good things. I too took some time off of logging on this site. I had so many little things I did each day I felt like I was not getting anything done. I have been going through each things and removing all the un-needed ones. So, I hope to have time to write here again. I am looking for accountability buddies to stay on my goals. Would you be interested in holding each other accountable? (Hope that does not sound strange in written form) Your recommitting to your fitness goals, that is awesome. I do not think it should be surprising that you did not lose ground though. You developed some good habits. And that is really the key to doing well in any goal. If it were not so hard to create the habits though. Cheers
  4. Do not see you around for this challenge, how goes?
  5. Main Quest: The workouts for the remainder of the challenge were very light because all of the travel. But I have been keeping up with them. The smoke is gone. Side Quest: The meetings went better then expected so this goal will be coming along nicely. I did not log as much as I would have liked in this last challenge but with all going on I am happy that I kept up working on my goals. I would say overall I would grade myself as a C.
  6. Main Quest: The workouts the last few days have been very light. The smoke is very thick from all the fires around here, so it is advised to avoid prolonged activity. Here is hoping for some rain and getting back to my workouts. Side Quest: Big business trip for the next few day. A lot about this goal will be learned. Lets hope for good.
  7. Good week of progress and work from me. Main Quest: Got to all workouts this week. Back to doing my mile walk in the morning as well. Making good progress. Side Quest: Still getting ready for next week. This quest will have a lot of action next week. Hopping that it goes well. Now back to work...

  9. I am continuing to make progress. I think I will have all of my habits, plans, and organization with evernote in place this week. As a result, I hope to start writing better descriptions of my progress. Main Goal: Getting back to walking in the morning. This really helps the day go by better. Side Goal: Everything is planned for my meeting. Now I just need to practice, so I am ready to present. That is all for today.
  10. Keeping the momentum going. logged a workout today. Was not at my fitness class, but it was enough to grab the 5th spot on the rising heros game here at nerd fitness. So, I will take that as another win. As for my side goal, I have been working on getting that going today. Hard as it might be, I am making small progress...

  12. Back on track a little. Made it to the AM fitness class on Thursday and also woke up and worked out this morning. So the main goal is getting back on course. I have been working a lot on my wealth goal. There will be interesting news with that in 2 weeks. Possibly good, possibly bad. We shall see. I am going to stay in this weekend and spend some real time getting back to the basics. First order of business. Just log something on this forum. Check. Small win. Now, on to the bigger items.   14. So, I guess it is time to check back in. I started out the challenge well, then work went crazy. So, I can make every excuse under the sun, but I will save all that and just get over it. My progress hit a wall and I had some serious setbacks. I have been working very hard to get back on track. I have hit a workout here and there, but I am hopping that I can get back to my workout plans tomorrow morning. All in all, not much to report, but to say that I am still here working.
