  1. Man salad explained, it's time to share on that meatatouille thing. Should just substitute the three kinds of veggies with three kinds of meat?? (I'd like that! huahuahua)

I stole the idea from Rooks a few challenges ago, I changed the recipe up a bit though. Eggplant, zucchini, peppers, onions, carrots, spinach, mushrooms, a 4-5 diced tomatoes, ground turkey and some spices. I'll get the full recipe up when I make it.

  2. Man salad.... nope doesn't make you any more manly

Can you make some of these things for me for lunch? They sound good :)

Steak + salad = man points. At least that is what I was told in Calc III. My wife would probably fight people over my food, she's pretty happy with my cooking.

  3. Pretty busy right now but figured I'd update. Weekly shopping trip (today -> next Friday) $72.90

    Today: Man salad

    Sunday: Silver Hydra's Meat Slop

    Monday: Buffalo Chicken Wraps

Tuesday : Beef and spinach frittata

    Wednesday  Meatatouille

    Thursday: chicken stir fry

    Friday: Turkey Burgers

    Lifting starts on Monday.

  4. My wife is looking to get that new Ruger American Rifle in the shorter version.  Most likely in 7mm-08.  I've heard lots of good things about that rifle and it's WAY cheaper than Remington.   Whitetails beware...your future is about to get "freezer cold"!!!

Holy hell, I just looked that up on Cabelas. That thing is like $1000 bucks cheaper than what I payed for mine, even the .308 and .30-06 are on sale for 380 bucks.

  5. For deer, I use my Remington Model 7 in .243.  I don't have any shots over 100 yards on my property, so I don't need the "Redneck machismo of a 7mm Mag to shoot a deer @ 68 yards"

I'm a cop, so I'm always packing.  My duty weapon is a Smith & Wesson M&P .40 and I carry about 4 extra mags.  My other handguns are my Springfield M1911 .45ACP and my Colt 1911 .45ACP(which was my Grandfathers in WW2).

I also have various other guns that I like to have multitudes of fun with.

I also use a Remington Model 700 CDL .243 WIN and it is my favorite by far. I hunt in a very pine rich area so shots over 70 yards would be impossible and it is very accurate. I also hunted with a .308 and a .30-06 but the .243 has just been more enjoyable for me.

  6. Welcome back laini! I've fought the addiction beast a few times and I usually end up winning (pack a day tobacco user, 2 energy drinks a day, certain video games that I would play every minute I wasn't free, and a few others) , I must be a stubborn sob. Alcohol is next on that list. Good luck!

  7. Thanks all!

    Yesterday:

I did a 20 minute run, laundry and made paleo cottage pie.

    Today;
Oh today, how I had so many plans. Well, some stuff went down at work and I have no idea what is going to come of it. But it put me in the shittiest possible of moods. So I came home and couldn't get the motivation to lift. Decided to update some documents and make dinner. Tonight is Chicken garbage. soup: 1.5 lbs of diced chicken, carrots, leeks, cubed rutabaga, red chard, celery salt and chicken stock. Man did I want a beer today but I didn't.

    God I am so angry.

    Thanks!

Stay on target.... stay on target....

Yeah, I did a SW themed challenge once and all I could think of was that quote when coming up for a title. I'm not very creative apparently.

Our challenges are going to be pretty similar I do believe, I'm even tempted to go back to SL for a few rounds myself.  I haven't decided yet, anywho.

Glad to see you're back around!  I hope it all works out for you.  I'll be following, good luck brother!

I'll be sure to follow your challenge as well. Thanks!
