New mini-challenge every week! Do you like tea? I really hated it when I first joined Nerd Fitness, and now that I've found brands I like I drink probably 4-5 mugs of tea (8 oz each) plus a few bottles of water a day

Haha too bad I didn't ask earlier, I always buy extra badges P: Good luck at Warrior Dash, are you doing Tough Mudder as well? Totally off topic...

Haha, "it's really nice out" means "OMFG SUN", no matter what the temp is XD I wear heels all year because I like my long dress pants, and in the winter it's basically every type of black/grey/taupe wedge-boot you could imagine XD On one of the nicer days (Saturday, I think) I was wearing these bad boys and totally biffed it on the ice. Gotta love winter.

I know it's not about sugar addiction, but Robb Wolf's book The Paleo Solution covers sugar cravings, and it's an interesting read

What always gets me when eating out is the cost added up over time. You should calculate the difference and put that money away for an incentive. Or instead of setting a number of times maybe set a monetary goal (like $40 cash) and if you use up all the cash you absolutely can't eat out again until next week.

Hah! The snow was almost gone, that is ONE DAY's worth of snow. It's very real and it ruins my high heels When it gets to 32 degrees F we stop wearing winter coats

I just drove over it :'( That's why I have pictures, as proof that my parents hate me and brought me into this state T_T

Tuesday 3/5/2013 (Day 9) Food: Breakfast- 3 eggs, lunch- kielbasa an avocado, dinner- Chicken Saltimbocca and a Mojita. I had no idea how to log this so I broke up the ingredients and logged those. I'm fairly certain I way overestimated calories in it, but nbd. Snacks- pistachios, jelly beans, gouda. Exercise: Nothing Daily Quest: None Life: Worked about 3 hours on my cosplays Week 2: food- 1/6 days, exercise- 1/5 days, life- 4/8 hours Tuesday was absolutely terrible, my best friend got drunk and disappeared last night at 3am, so we were driving around down town Minneapolis while it was snowing buckets in his friggin Camaro that has windows this big. Absolute blast. I took Tuesday off of work because I was angry, upset, tired, and it snowed an assload and I didn't want to dig my car out at 7am. The evening was a lot better, I took my BF out for dinner while our friend slept off his hangover in our living room. The downside being I didn't eat the best, I comforted myself with Sweet Tart Jellybeans, then my stomach hurt so bad I couldn't go for a run :| This is what my car looked like when I finally got around to brushing it off at 5pm. Please note that the plow... Well, plowed me in.

Unhealthy family members, and what to do about it
Laney replied to Maris Stella's topic in Rebel Army Base Camp
IMO, there is only 1 correct answer to this. You cannot change anyone except yourself. If they truly thought there was a problem, they would be actively working to fix it. Hopefully when they see the positive change in you, they will have more desire to change themselves. -

Monday 3/4/2013 (Day 8) Food: Breakfast- 3 eggs, lunch- chicken & veggies, dinner- turkey burger, 2 eggs, 1/2 avocado, snacks- pistachios, dark chocolate, m&ms, boiled egg, string cheese ~1,550 calories. Still under my carbs despite eating a few M&Ms... Heh. Exercise: Leg day, unfortunately. My legs are still super sore from back day Calf Raises: 105x12, 90x15, 75x12, rest, 105x12, 75x12, rest, 105x12, 75x12 Leg Extension: 45x12, 40x12, 35x12, rest, 45x12, 35x12, rest, 45x12, 35x12 Leg Press: 115x12, 105x12, 95x12, rest, 115x12, 95x12, rest, 115x12, 95x12 Daily Quest: Stretched PM Life: Worked about 1 hour on my cosplays Week 2: food- 1/6 days, exercise- 1/5 days, life- 1/8 hours Updated my diet goals to account for eating higher on workout days. I can't continue to eat 1,200 or so on days I lift and run, it leaves me light headed and ravenous come morning. I generally don't give into cravings, but the point stands.

Adventurer Mini Challenge #2 - Eradicating Cardio-Free

It won't let me edit the spreadsheet. Well, I'll just have to post them I guess. I use MFP and I'll manually keep track of miles on the treadmill -
