  2. Funny you should be quoting this now. IIRC I dropped 40 lbs and had some major body recomposition. Then I gained 90 lbs when I started working 14 hours a day and fitness wasn't a priority. In December 2015 I started doing BJJ and I dropped 50 lbs before getting hurt in September 2016. Then I quickly gained back 20 eating crap. I started with the Keto WOE (I basically eat paleo with cheese and heavy cream) and I've dropped 35 lbs in 2 months. I had a major wrist reconstruction in October. I lost A LOT of muscle mass in my left arm. I've just returned to BJJ and started 5x5 3 weeks ago. So I'm back on the cardio+5x5 plain. But as you can see, for my weight loss goals... diet diet diet.   11. Thanks bruv... I just did 405 on the squat... it felt light... it was just difficult to lift off the bar... as far as that chalk...   12. I forgot to update this log on Tuesday night. My bad. I didn't get to start working out until about 9:00 and just fell out. So what did I actually do? Squat: 5x5 @ 190 Bench: 5x5 @ 135 (I'm up to 1 plate... sweet~!) Rows: 5x5 @ 115 Tonight... I sweat like a ho on the stroll when her money's short... It was great... ain't nothing like a good workout to cancel out a bad day... My knees have been hurting... but I might just need to correct my form... I've started to try and not stop until my hamstrings touch my calves... meh... whatever... Squat: 5x5 @ 195 Press: 5x5 @ 110 Deadlift: 5x5 @ 195 I made a 15 lb jump on deadlift mostly because I hate 2.5 plates... and partly so deads and squat stay on point together... MORE WEIGHTS EQUALS MORE DATES~! STAY OUT OF MY O-ZONE~!

  14. Yeah... so after going to a few Modell's stores with no luck in finding any chalk... I ran into a Sports Authority while leaving the Sam Ash parking lot... I picked up some chalk and athletic tape this morning... About 10 minutes ago... I decided to do an experiment with the hook grip and deadlift... It was murder on my thumb... but 365 never felt so light... I would have tried 405... but tomorrow is squat deadlift day... I'm certain I could pull more with straps... I could barely pull 315 with straps when I did the tests in my signature... but that was only a month ago... I needed to brag... LESSSSSSSSSSSS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I just need to find that clip from the cosby show where theo is at the after school program talking to the kid and he's all "Go Theo... Go Theo... Go Theo..." that makes me laugh about as much as this still does...
  15. When I was in high school (damn... that statement makes me feel old) during Spring Ball we had a 3 day 5x5 circuit. Squat/Bench + supplemental exercises Bench/PC + supplemental exercises PC/Squat + supplemental exercises Don't ask me what exercises we did on what day... but I have the feeling that Squat/Bench day was a mixture... Bench/PC was an upper body day... and PC/Squat was a lower body day... As far as post workout... I workout first thing upon getting home from work on a semi-empty stomach... I skip the protein shake and just have dinner... hope that helps...
