  2. I did pretty well yesterday. I mostly ate turkey, but I had a little bit of mashed potatoes and one slice of pumpkin pie. No soda, yay!
  3. This week ended up much better. I made paleo roast chicken and it was super easy. I used it for lunch and dinner in various salads and meals all week. Having food prepped made my week a lot smoother. I'm also doing much better on my sleep and working out goals. Thanks, accountabillibuddies! You guys rock!

  5. Okay I mentioned this in my thread, but I am really struggling so far. School is taking a toll and I am dangerously addicted to caffeine. I didn't lift once this week yet and I won't be able to until tomorrow because I'm working late. I have been walking every day though, partially because my car broke down. So much fail, argh. I'm frustrated and mad at myself So, I need to step it up. Step 1) I need to prep food for the week between tomorrow and the next day because I get crazy busy. If anyone has any awesome recipes that can be frozen or cooked in the slow-cooker, send them my way. I'll let you guys know what I try so that I feel more of an obligation to accomplish this. Step 2) I need to come up with a plan for Thanksgiving. I'm bringing some sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts to the gathering, so there will be some healthy stuff there. Step 3) I need to sleep. I need to turn off all of my devices at 9 p.m. so that my brain knows it's time to sleep. Also, I've been having anxiety nightmares like the ones I imagine Hermione Granger has where I fail all of my classes or I miss a test or I've been enrolled in a class that I didn't know about. This is not providing me with restful sleep. Step 4) I need to get my ass up and go to the gym first thing in the morning. Which will be easier to accomplish after Step 3 has been achieved. Sorry for the long update, but I kind of dropped off of the face of the earth due to some particularly nasty exams. I'm sorry I let you guys down
  6. Hey thanks for checking in. The Go/No-go is the only goal that I am doing well at. I have had 3 no-go meals so far. Other than that, I am off to a completely terrible start. I got really caught up in midterms this week (which are now over, phew) and only went to bed at 10 on Monday. I have walked but I haven't made it to the gym because my car broke down (I'm towing it in to be fixed tomorrow morning). Yesterday my laptop, which I love more than almost anything in the world, went INSANE and now doesn't work. Add all of that stress to the guilt I feel about not doing well on my sleep/lifting goals and I am not in a good place right now. I need to turn it around, and fast.
  7. Hey all, sweet team name! I have felt super tired all day today but I still did my 20 minutes of walking. I was too tired to cook good stuff so I had two epic salads today for lunch and dinner, and a little bit of melon for a snack. Right now there are snickerdoodles on my desk that were left by a sabotaging co-worker. I'm waiting for him to leave so I can move them to a distant location. Planning on doing some push-ups at work after everyone else leaves.

  10. Smart! I'm going to set those alarms. My problem is that I tend to be goofing off on the internet when I should be asleep. I will leave the laptop on my desk and not take it with me.

  13. Hi, accountabilibuddy Your goals are smart. There is a McDonalds one block away from me and I default there a bit too much as well. Walking in the mornings that I don't lift sounds like it could be nice. I need to clear my head before school so I can improve my focus. You've got this!
