  1. Today was (actually still is) a terrible day. So stressful and it's 4am and I'm still working. Managed to eat incredible amounts of junk and no gym.. Funny thing is that eating like this somehow triggers my brain - I've done more work today than during the whole week Enviado do meu iPhone usando Tapatalk
  2. PS: Super excited to start Karate classes next Monday... had to quit last year but it's gonna be awesome :3 (yes i'm using this as a battle/thoughts log, but it's kinda weird to write to myself)
  3. Dude, you got up and went swimming after a night out, that's awesome! - we all slip sometimes but it's nice to see you're focused and keeping up the momentum =)
  4. Oh MY GOD! I actually fell asleep midnight the last two days - couldn't sleep that well but honestly i feel so much better! Monday and Tuesday i went for a run - around 3~4k and took some time to rest my body yesterday. Also, grocery shop yesterday, tons of veggies to make lunch without carbs and did good
  5. You know, sounds like a joke but brocolli does wonders for hungry moments and depending on the way you cook it, it's super yummy (Lots of garlic, black pepper and a tiny bit of olive oil on a frying pan) Enviado do meu iPhone usando Tapatalk
  6. I've been reading your topic and just wanted to say that you're inspiring me on this! You know, trying really hard and actually seeing results! <3 congratulations
  7. I feel ya on family meals man. =/ Did you keep track of calorie intake before? Right now even if it's not what you planned, still sounds good! (and remember, you can always change that percentage to reach your average goal before the end of the challenge, critical last weeks so keep going, that sounds awesome!) BTW: cool spreadsheet!
  8. Week 1 of 2: Run 2/4: 50%50% Diet: Need to find a way to control the water intake, but doing ok
  9. Hey there! Long time no see.. last time i tried to accomplish something here was 2014 (First Quest! 5k Running) , but even though i visited the forum, never tried another challenge. But - guess it's time. And even though i'll need to aim big, i'll try to do it as much as i possibly can. The thing is that me and my brother made a bet: R$500,00 (like $150) for the one who loses more weight by May 1st. He's 92kg and i'm 77kg, so we'll measure by percentage. I KNOW It's dumb cause we won't measure fat or even healthy loss here, but for a couple months it will be a good start. And there's no way to bet and lose so.. My goals: Diet: >Cut 50% of my carbs in every meal (i used to keep a partial paleo diet/habit going on, so protein and veggies are no strangers and i like to eat like this) >Drink 2L of water a day. Fitness: > Build my running habit - go for a treadmill or outdoor run 4x a week for 30min. Life: > Stay away from my phone when i go to bed, i'm awake for too long and always begin the next day feeling tired. Thanks for listening !
  10. Hey there, no problem to try again! How about to join the 4 week challenge?
  11. Hey there Jessica! The whole point of being here is to show you that you can do it, no matter how many times you considered as failures before, and if you need help we're here =] How's everything going?
  12. Hello thanks for the info.. i didn't knew much of Shotokan style or the other ones. It's really incredible to see the difference from Kyokushin that i've been practicing for a few months (oh my white belt). How is your week routine, guys? Do you train over 4 times a week, any achievement in mind? =)
  13. Thanks guys! It's was really nice to be at the ceremony =) Right now i'm again on a business travel, so i'm still OUT of my routine and feeling really awful about my body. As soon as i have some spare time i'll post the results of my little quest, but i did a good job on march around my fitness routine. bye!
  14. Haha, loved how u explained.. it makes complete sense! *doing pushups right now to test* Hey elsfaire, welcome to the challenge! You know, there's something awesome about doing something like this, on a different period.. cause you'll feel like something more 'ongoing', not a thing with beginning and end defined. Those weird things can do miracles with your mind, specially about creating habit and routine.
  15. That was too short. Really.. i'll go back there, do some other exercise. Last week!! Rock your challenge, everyone! =)
