  2. Wow! Thank you all so much for the great advice, this really is a phenomenal group of people. What I've gathered from this all is, as I suspected, I should be eating better no matter what. Probably more protein and less grease and sugar? I think it's funny how much attention the burgers got though, because that comment was a little more rhetorical. Plot twist: I'm actually a vegetarian!
  3. The title pretty much sums it up: I've never had any trouble with weight and I'm okay with my current size and appearance. I'm here on nerd fitness because I want to get stronger and be better at sports, but most of the diets here either seem to be about losing or gaining weight. Are there any benefits to me cleaning up my food intake, or should I just enjoy my free pass to eat burgers every meal? Thanks for your time, Jonathan
  4. Oh wow, that all looks awesome! Thanks so much for the info. I don't really know how the challenges work yet, but I'll look into it. And yes, I plan on doing the GR Warrior Dash! I've never done one before, but it looks extremely cool.
  5. Hey Mitten thread! I just signed up, I'm totally down for a NF Warrior dash team. I plan on signing up for the one in Grand Rapids this September, if anyone's interested! I go to MSU, so I'm in East Lansing during the school year.
  6. But that won't stop me from Leeroy Jenkinsing my way into this forum. (Did that nerd reference sound forced? Maybe I'm trying too hard.) Hello fellow rebels! I'm a 19 year old student at Michigan State University, and I'm here to up my game! Although I'm already in decent shape, 6'1" and 170 lbs, I'd really like to improve my parkour and Humans vs Zombies abilities. Over the next few months, I'll be figuring out pullups, putting together a workout routine, and even competing in a Warrior Dash (google it if you don't already know)! So if any of you would like to join me on this quest for arm things, nerf guns, and backflips, send me a friend request! I'd love to hear what everyone else is up to, and even if our goals are completely different, I'm sure we'd both appreciate eachother's support. The fact that you're even reading this makes you an awesome person, and I know we can figure out this fitness business together! Maybe, many years from now, I'll even figure out how to make a cool signature. =] -Jonathan
