  1. Starting weight for the challenge: 158 Goal: 152
  2. The suggestions I've been given are: - Lie on your back and cross your arms over your abdomen, digging fingers in and pulling the ab muscles together while doing a crunch. Also can pull them in like that while doing leg slides and reverse curls. - T-Tapp "organs in place" and "half-frog sequence" http://ttapp.com/articles/flatstomach/index.html I would looooove an Ergo! I have a couple ring slings and a Mei Tai, but oh the Ergo looks amazing.
  3. I'm a 28 year old mom of three. Since my youngest was born 8 months ago, I've lost all my pregnancy weight along with another 15 pounds... a total of a 50 lb weight loss so far! But to get to my goal weight, I still have about 25 pounds to lose. Honestly, I haven't done much to lose weight so far, other than breastfeeding and attempting to eat reasonably. But I know the calorie-burning perks of breastfeeding won't last forever, and I need to start working on an exercise routine. I also have a lot of toning to do, particularly in my stomach where I have a large abdominal separation thanks to the last two pregnancies. >< In addition to parenting three kids, I'm starting a part-time master's program in a couple weeks, so I will need to be more intentional about how I spend my time. Right now I end up wasting too much time online. So, my goals for the next 6 weeks are: 1. Reduce my abdominal separation. Right now I have a four-finger separation. Yikes! I'm not sure how much it's possible to reduce it in six weeks, but I'd like to get to a 2-3 finger separation by the end of the challenge. 2. Walk a total of at least 21 miles by walking at least one mile every other day. If I do more, great! 3. Lose 6 pounds 4. No more than 2 hours of unnecessary online time each day I will be back later with a more detailed plan; I need to get one of the kids off to bed!
