1. Thanks guys I deadlifted for the 2nd time this week with the same weight at 180lbs and I noticed that it was harder than the first time i deadlifted this week :/ I still managed to finish the sets and reps but it was just tougher for some reason.. could it be that I didnt eat enough since the last time i deadlifted?
2. Awesome! Great work. And please tell me you did what Mad Sci is asking if you did
3. Thanks amigos! So another update: Failed on my last set of 170lbs on my squats ... just gotta keep eating more and more!
4. Thanks man! Gotta admit I was skeptical about pushing 20lbs more into my deadlift. Thanks my friend. How's your squats doing? thanks and I will! Btw, I'd like to request somebody to edit my thread name and put my name on it? thanks!
5. Good job on your weight loss! i too have asthma and allergies(allergies are the worseeeee) so I feel you. Just continue eating healthy and keep your diet clean with exercise and I guarantee you will lose more poundage. Good luck my friend!! Remember to eat, lift and sleep.
6. Wow love the gym motivational shirt designs. gotta get me one of those!
7. Greaatttt work! By the way, how's your BJJ training coming along?

9. Update: 2nd Edition Deadlifted 160 lbs today! Was happy to go from 140lbs to 160lbs in a week. Next week I'll be daedlifting once so I'll go for 170lbs or 180lbs(might just make it) n Also made one friend today! Friend counter 1/5 I'm very very busy so I won't be able to post encouragements to my fellow rebels in their threads so i'll leave a message here for everyone to see. Thanks for the encouragement guys! So far I'm on course to reaching my goals and I hope you guys are too (I know you guys are! Rock on!)
10. Loving the goals (especially the mountain climbing one!) Good luck on quitting the death sticks too!!(I call them deathsticks lol)
11. Way to go chap! Sounds like everything went well
12. The cravings will be gone in no time my friend . After which you'll be craving for some good ol' fruits, veggies and meat!
13. You're looking good man! Keep it up!
14. Thanks! haha thanks! i'm actually alternating my deadlifting days where in one week i'll deadlift once, then the another week i'll deadlift twice. I just saw your liftin numbers and wowza! I have a lot of work to do to reach yours! haha Thanks man! It was love at first sight(or touch, whichever works) Thanks man you too! We're still PvP'ing by the way haha!
15. Hmmm everyone has some interesting points. I read the AoM article that was linked here and I think men should be on a middle ground between nice guy and D-bag Someone who is gentle yet fierce. Someone who shows feelings yet is solid like a rock. The article also mentions how men get in the friendzone by being "nice". They become too nice and voila I don't know, I never thought about the friend zone. I was never friend zoned and I think it's an excuse that people use when someone isn't interested in him/her or something. It's hard to believe that a friend can't have interest in you. People in the "friend zone" probably didn't do much to woo their girl friend
16. I'm happy for you! Those are some great gains in 8 weeks. Keep it up
17. I like that. "Good men". It has a nice ring to it. It's very classy compared to "nice guys". It's like one of the lost arts of manliness is being called a good man.
18. I came out like this though: so I guess she was fine with it XD FIRST UPDATE So last week I failed on my last set of squats at 160lbs. Today I owned that bar like a little dog and squatted 160 with ease. i'm very happy I got to squat my bodyweight Will also be deadlifting 150lbs this week so watch out for that. Still can't find the time to start boxing or jiu-jitsu. Someday.. And my life goal still isn't going anywhere. I might tell the girl I like that I like her...that's gonna be real tough for me.. I guess if I succeed in that, I can pass my life goal. Eat, lift and sleep bro!
19. I will be cheering you on bro! Switching to a full-Paleo is a challenging and fulfilling goal. It's tough for some people(that includes me) but as long as everything is planned out, I see smooth sailing for you.
20. In other words, suck it up and be a man. Got it
21. Good luck to everyone taking the challenge!
22. grrrr Russian ab twists are one of the toughest for me.. but I feel like a beast right after finishing them
23. Thanks for all the answers guys. I finally got the answer for this question. It does make sense that as you get stronger and put more weight on the barbell, your core also gets stronger. Just wanted to clear things up and you guys helped a lot
24. A little healthy competition wouldn't hurt I say bring it on my good man
25. Welcome! I love your drive! That is something that people need. The drive to get things done and the courage to face what comes next. With that said, I can't imagine the thought of me giving up white rice. I am like 80-90% Paleo now though and I started minimizing my white rice. Hey, it's working for me so I don't think I'll be giving it up soon haha. I probably will go full 100% Paleo once I get my own job after college but thats still a few years from now. anyway, good luck to you!!
