I think you used "pretty good" to describe your arms the way most people use "amazing." Just sayin.

Not sure what your eating habits are, but how do you feel about whole milk? It's a great way to add in calories when you need to.

I for one was commending you opening up about your thoughts and feelings. An old supervisor once told me "don't should on yourself." Screw how you "should" have felt. You wanted to be shot at with lasers till your hair fell out. You are a grown up. You got shot at with lasers. End of story.

I know you are making breakthroughs! All that scary stuff and you just toughed it out. I don't think you understand how much you rock right now. I mean you Freddie Mercury riding on Robert Plant's shoulders Rock!

Thank you for the kind words. It is a struggle to stay consistent, but I have learned I am worth it, and the rewards far outweigh the cost of consistency. Thanks, I managed to make lunch and dinner for today and throw stuff in a crock pot for tomorrow and clean the kitchen. I did everything before having to leave for work this evening, and did I mention I got my workout in for today? I feel like such a grownup.

Thanks Sterre and Miss_Marrisa, it was nice coming back and reading your posts. 2.54 miles today, another weird shift tomorrow so it's doubling up on the cooking for today. I gave myself credit for another half week on the eating goal since I have not eaten out and have cooked each day today. Woke up grumpy but the run seemed to take care of it mostly. Don't think I slept well last night, though I got enough hours.

Sorry your week isn't going well. For what it's worth, you have put in some martial arts time each day and are doing well with the Spanish. Even if you aren't eating as much as you had hoped, you are still checking in and tracking your calories.

DarK_RaideR: Sanity is over-rated
Tanktimus the Encourager replied to DarK_RaideR's topic in Rangers
"I finished first but that's not good enough." "Impressive, nah, that got Rangered a long time ago." You certainly did not dissapoint, way to go on the PR's. I know now I want to be like Dark_Raider/Rurik (since they are basically the same person but from alternate universes) when I grow up. -
Glad you enjoyed Berlin, very good job meditating and not overdoing the beer. You did a great job planning out your respawn. You identified what didn't work and were very realistic and gentle with yourself, you are making huge progress.

Down here in Texas we call beef cheeks Barbacoa, and it is the food of the gods. Studies have proven it helps recharge mana faster. -
Sneaky sneaky sneaky, hopefully Nuala is sneaky enough
Tanktimus the Encourager replied to Nuala's topic in Assassins
Sorry you're having a rough time, but the Ranting is very healthy for you, it keeps all that stuff from being bottled up. The one time I was in France it was a layover coming back from Spain and our flight got canceled. It was one of those group trips people do in college. Well, this was the summer before the Euro started being used, so those of us who did have cash all had Spanish Pesetas and none of us wanted to convert money for one night. Our sponsor had a credit card, so he had to pay for dinner (the university would reimburse him). Because he didn't want to abuse the expense account we at at McDonalds. In Paris. I still haven't completely gotten over that. At the time I was not worried about eating healthy, but even back then I didn't like McDonalds. Anyway, this is your thread. Your BF's uncle is obviously a very unhappy person, otherwise he would be a better guest. The best thing about visitors like that is they leave. -
Carrots are great, Bugs Bunny is even better!

Thanks for sharing something so personal. It sounds like a really wise decision to deal permanently with this issue. Good job getting the to do list to halfway in week 2. You are wise for following directions about not working out till you are cleared.

Welcome to the rebellion. You have a good initial goal defined, now the question is how are you going to go from 396 to 390? Eating well and working out are the best ways, the trick is to find an eating plan and a fitness plan that will work for you. Check out Steve's blog, there is a lot of good info over there.
