  1. After a 2 month break from Stronglifts due to me starting to study, I can start working out again. My previous stats were (including all warm-up sets. Squat: 5x5x110 kg Rows: 5x5x77,5kg Bench press: 5x5x65kg Overhead press: 5x5x45kg Deadlift: 1x5x125kg My system specifications: Height: 167 cm Weight: ~72 kg Type: Male (slightly chubby) I obviously just cant jump back into it where I left of. Where would you recommend I start again? I was thinking at 50% of my old weights..
  2. Hi. I'm from Denmark as well I don't know if you're willing to pay for a calorie counter. But if you are I, would definately suggest www.madlog.dk. It has an archive of pretty much all kinds of foods in Denmark. It has an option to save your own recipes and save how much of that recipe you ate for a specific meal. It is great. But unfortunately not free.
  3. True. I had a conversation the other day, about how many sets to do, with a friend who eats good and work out often. And I was afraid he was going to get all preachy. Instead he just said "well... 1 set is ALWAYS better than zero sets. Everybody has to start somewhere"
  4. I'm not sure I can make it on such short notice. I have a habit of filling my calender couple of weeks ahead.
  5. This morning when I woke up, I was a little sad. Not because I didn't get enough sleep, but because I slept so great I didn't want to part with it. In other news. I think I'm beginning to stall on my bench press. I could do 57,5 kg 5x5, last week. But yesterday when I was supposed to go to 60 5x5, I couldn't get all the reps. I could only manage 5-3-3-3-3. I did have a hard day at work and probably not enough energy. I'll try 60 kg a couple of sessions more, before deciding to deload.
  6. Sorry about the late update. I've been without internet for two weeks now. Kinda frustrating. I'm at 90 kg squat now and beginning to feel the weight, but I think I have enough power/gains to make it to 100 kg as a working weight. In other news: On my warmup deadlift sets today I didn't really focus, because it was "only" 60 kg. So I accidentally farted at the guy behind me. I don't know if he noticed or if he was just kind enough to pretend that he didn't hear it... Poor guy... Poor me
  7. The king of fools strikes again... So I fell into the habit and smoked again. Fortunately this is not the end of the world, so I'll consider it a reset. On the bright side: Everything else is going great. Workouts are being worked out (and still progressing). Sleep is being slept. And food is being eaten, without all the candy/sugary badness. Without the sugar the sleep challenge pretty much sorts itself out. I'm tired soon enough to get a proper nights sleep.
  8. Way to go! Congratulations It's woots like these that inspires and motivates me.
  9. Yes! Feels just like a friend moved out of state. And even though you can do just fine without that friend, it's still weird that (s)he is gone.
  10. In other news: I was extremely close to buying a pack of smokes. So I tried to figure out why. I don't think it's only because it's a habit. I think it's also caused by fear. Fear of something new. Something unusual.
  11. Another good update. Everything is working out as it is supposed to. Haven't added cardio yet though. And in the woot-news section: I've hit 100kg on my deadlift. Which is extra super awesome considering the fact that I busted my left thumb and index finger at work, so I can't grip with them.
  12. Slipped up this weekend. Had one unhealthy meal more than I had actually allowed for myself. But it could have gone way worse. Still no smoking and getting enough sleep too - this combination is really messing with my dreams... In a good way. They are more "alive" and more frequent. Work outs are also on schedule. I'm left with a lot of energy after my work outs though, so I'm thinking about adding some cardio after lifting. Perhaps 10 sets of 10 burpees for starters... Anyone with any other good ideas.? PS: If anyone thinks I could use some line breaks in this post, blame Tapatalk. I just can't get it to look good
  13. Short update: Worked out, ate good, slept well. Didn't smoke... I did however find myself trying to think of an excuse to smoke this weekend. SHAME ON ME! And it wasn't even totally conscious. But now that I'm aware of it, I might be better armed to fight it
