  1. Ayyyyyo, Jumping on the boat late here. But, better late than never. It's go time. I am excited, I am pumped, and generally freaking out. But thats okay. To begin, this is my first challenge, and I couldn't be more excited. This is going to be a great 6 weeks. 6 weeks of just day after day of commitment and dedication. I have been committed before during my football days in High school and college, but since then I have always been one of those get excited for 3 days and then stop guys. Not this time. My goals for these 6 weeks. 1. Eating Paleo. Im diving right in. Cold turkey. It's gotta happen. 2. Workout 4 days a week. Generally some basic movements and then some sort of crossfit WOD to finish it off. 3. Be able to do one measly pull up. Never have been able to before. 4. Lose 30 pounds (Current weight 285) 5. And finally, just be more adventurous and more daring in my life. Or as Steve would call it, level up my life. Rewards: - I can't even begin to imagine how great my life would be if I was able to accomplish these feats. That alone would be a reward and what drives me. What tips do you guys have for me to accomplish these goals? I need you guys and your support. My support system where I live doesn't exist. Just a constant barrage of bringing me down and influence of bad eating habits. You guys are my support system. (Sidenote, but my reward for a total of 50 pounds weight loss would be the Star Lord jacket Chris Pratt wears is Guardians of The Galaxy.) Give me 2 claps and a Ric Flair, WOO! Clax The Destroyer.
  2. Hi all I'm Jeza and I'm excited to sign up for my first challenge. I've been around for ages but never had the courage to actually try a challenge. To be honest it all felt super overwhelming but I've decided screw it let's do this. NFA has really inspired me to create the life I actually want to live. So, down to business. I want to conquer the world. I want to be able to use my body to conquer any obstacle thrown my way. I also love to play Netball and really want to improve my jumping, dodging and stealth skills! As such my main challenge at the moment is to first lose the excess fat I have gained over the past 5 years and then sculpt my body into a lean-mean, ass-kicking machine. So how will I do this? MAIN STORY LINE To be able to use the world as my playground and enjoy the outdoors. Hiking, climbing, swimming, running and the list goes on! Nothing will be off limits anymore. I want to be able to use my body as my weapon. LEVEL 1 QUEST Be under 75kgs GOAL BREAKDOWN Bikram yoga 4x per week Weekly carb intake under 700g Use food diary every day Once I have started building these healthy habits I can then move on to actually developing some skills. Like pullups! LET'S DO THIS!
  3. Hi all, this is my first challenge on the road to making myself awesome. you see over the past few years my confidence has gone way down and my weight has gone up up up in the process. I do not like who i see in the mirror anymore, she does not reflect who i am. soo... Main goal: (the big one!) In the next 6 weeks I would like to lose 6kg and fit into my skinny jeans. Now this may seem like a huge amount but I have been trying to lose 6kg for about 4 years now and its not as easy as it looks... (and yes my skinny jeans are probably seriously out of date!) I don't want to starve myself, I want to do it sensibly so I can maintain it after the 6 weeks and every week after that. My Three Specific goals: 1. For the next 6 weeks I will swap biscuits (my Kryptonite) for a piece a fruit instead 2. I'll do three Strength Training sessions a week. 3. I'll run twice a week, building up to 10k. Life Quest: Pay £500 off my credit card (hopefully by not buying lattes and snacks this will be highly possible!) Fitness Quest: Complete a 10k which i have signed up to for a children's hospital charity. Motivation: This has actually been hard for me, I've written down countless times that my motivation is to look better and have more confidence but each time I haven't gone through with my goals... so I'm not feeling all that confident in writing it again... I've been unhappy with the way I look and feel for about 4 years now and I'm down right sick of it. I've wanted to become a Personal Trainer for the past few years and recently I signed up to a course, but typical me, I keep sabotaging my results and therefore thinking even worse of myself. My motivation this time round is that I'm going to lose those 6 kgs and buck up my fitness so I can become the best darn PT there is! I also don't want to go to and buy new jeans in the next size up... no more going up in jean sizes!! so here I go, the motivation is up on the wall, I'll going to do this. (support very very welcome!!)
  4. Well, as you may have guessed, I'm Kaitlyn. And this is my daily Battle Log, where I'm going to post my daily activities that pertain to my goals and weight loss. So, here's a list of my goals right now, and how it's associated to my long term goal. Stay on the Paleo Diet, and learn to make Paleo recipes. Run at least 2 miles a daySo, how does that stack up to my big goal? Well, my big end goal is to... Complete the Tough Mudder mud run October 26th. This is a 12 mile, 22 obstacle course that's designed by British Special Forces. And I'm going to get there.
