I have made the plan to Bike to the tip of Vancouver Island for my 30th Birthday, its about a 1200-1400km round trip and I am planning on taking 2 weeks to get it done. I've been cycling a fair bit over the last year, put down probably about 2400km in the last year with mostly leisure riding. Wondering if anyone has any tips for me? Never done anything this big before and always open to ideas. Something I am looking specifically for is recommendations for Solar/Power gear. I like to track my rides, and my S3 eats up battery like no tomorrow. It would be cool to have a system to keep my phone and portable speaker charging through the day. Cheers for any ideas.
