  1. Hello, I’m Dustoff and I am excited to start my first challenge here. Hoping this will get me back on track and losing weight. I have always loved lifting weights and plan to include it in my daily workouts. I will be including time on the elliptical as well. I have already started working out and have set a goal to continue it through the challenge. I began eating a fairly paleo diet and with the combination of diet and exercise I have lost 6 pounds the past two weeks. I think the goals I have set are reasonable but I am open to suggestions and help so that I can be successful. If my goals need reworked or refined please let me know. Current Stats: Sex: Male Age: 34 Height: 5’10†Weight: 251 lbs. BMI: 36 Main Quest: Lose 55 pounds by October 1st – My wife and I are cruising in October and I want to be slimmed down before then. Goal 1: Lose at least 15 lbs. during the 6 week challenge measured by at least 2.5 lbs. lost per week (more than 2.5 lbs. per week will not count toward the next week’s goal.) Goal 1: Track all calories consumed daily during the 6 week challenge. I will slowly drop my caloric intake from 1800 calories a day the first week down to 1550 calories a day by week 6. If energy becomes an issue during workouts I may adjust the average daily calories for the weeks remaining in the challenge but I will continue to track all calories consumed. Week 1 - Average 1800 Calories a day Week 2 - Average 1750 Calories a day Week 3 - Average 1700 Calories a day Week 4 - Average 1650 Calories a day Week 5 - Average 1600 Calories a day Week 6 - Average 1550 Calories a day Graded weekly, the final grade will be an average of the weekly grades A = Tracked all calories daily and did not go over the daily average for the week. B = Tracked all calories daily but went over the daily average for the week. C = Missed tracking some calories on 1 or 2 days of the week. D = Missed tracking some calories on 3 or 4 days of the week. E = Missed tracking some calories on 5 or more days of the week or missed an entire day. Goal 2: Work out at least 4 days per week for 45 minutes or more. Graded weekly, the final grade will be an average of the weekly grades. A = Work out at least 4 days for 45 minutes. B = Work out at least 3 days for 45 minutes. C = Work out at least 2 days for 45 minutes. D = Work out at least 1 day for 45 minutes. E = Not working out at all for the week Goal 3: Eat healthy while at work – Healthy paleo meals brought from home and correctly portioned, No eating out for lunch, and only water to drink while at work. Graded weekly, the final grade will be an average of the weekly grades. A = Healthy paleo meal brought to work and only water to drink during the work day for 5 days out of the week. B = Healthy paleo meal brought to work and only water to drink during the work day for 4 days out of the week. C = Healthy paleo meal brought to work and only water to drink during the work day for 3 days out of the week. D = Healthy paleo meal brought to work and only water to drink during the work day for 2 days out of the week. E = Healthy paleo meal brought to work and only water to drink during the work day for 1 day out of the week. Life Quest: Complete one home improvement project per week. This should get me up and moving more make Mrs. Dustoff really happy since I have at least a dozen started but unfinished projects around the house.
