  1. My son's name is Luke and since we are both Star Wars junkies he likes to tell me that I am Darth. It is time to show him that I am Anakin instead. I have been a rebel for a couple months, but not as active on the site that last couple weeks. Since I have never done a challenge I figured that would be a good way to keep me both active on the site and active in my life. Over the past couple months I have lost close to 40lbs but that has started to slow and this challenge is geared towards keeping my the progress that I have made. Well, here is what my challenge is. I am hoping that during this 4 weeks I will drop 25lbs and at then end have the strength and endurance to run a mile. Diet: Weekdays: No eating out. Stick to chicken or fish and stay away from red meat and pork. Stay around 1800 calories a day Breakfast - Stick to Greek Yogurt, fruit or eggs - make sure to stay around 200-300 calories Lunch - More vegetables than anythings else but make sure there is some form of protein - Stay are 500-700 calories Dinner - Protein because this meal will come after a workout usually. Make sure to work in nutrient rich carbs Weekend: Give yourself a cheat day. Treat your self to a steak and a dinner roll. Make sure not to overeat just because you are eating foods that are not had during the weekdays. Exercise: Weekdays: 1. Walk 15 minutes in the morning and at night. 2. Daily calisthenics a. Stretch arms, legs and core b. 50 crunches c. 25 pushups 3. Make it to the gym 3 times a week a. 2 nights of weight training b. 1 night of aerobics Weekends: Be active at least 45 minutes each day- hiking, walking, sports....Try to stick to a fun activity so that I might do it longer than 45 minutes

  3. I was surprised by how easy it was today to get right back to my good habits. After going away for the weekend and being around very few food options that would be considered healthy I thought it was going to be hard to go back to Paleo. Fortunately, I was mistaken and the food tasted delicious. I only completed a little aerobic exercise, but I also cleaned some so I was still moving. Something that I plan on focusing on this week is sleep. I did feel a little drowsy today.
