Well my first two challenges were small and somewhat unsuccessful, and unfortunately life got pretty chaotic in the last three weeks, but ultimately the chaos has been good. I've started a new job at a university that I'm thrilled about. We're moving in two short weeks, to Portland, a city I've always wanted to live in since we moved to Oregon. The plans I set in motion three years ago after going through a bout of depression and returning to school for my masters are finally beginning to be realized. It's truly wonderful. I wish I could say physically I am doing so well. I've gained forty pounds in the last four years, and I am so sedentary, and starting to develop lower back aches. A rally is in order. I'm not sure I'll be able to start this challenge right away. We have to pack and move everything in two weeks and with the new job I think that will consume a lot of my mental power for a while. However, I will set these goals and then do my best to ramp up as the challenge weeks pass. Looking forward to completing our goals together! 1. Do yoga at least once a week for 20 minutes, focusing on my lower back 2. Walk the trails around my new apartment at least once a week (so excited about this, it's a beautiful wooded area) 3. Eat one day of whole/unprocessed foods a week 4. Go to bed by 10 pm every weekday
