Hello there guys,We are a Barcelona's fitness center and we are planning to build our own "functional training / street workout park". Our idea is to buy all the materials and make it cheaper than it would be buying a pre-fabricated park. The objective is creating a park were to attract crossfit, streetworkout and calisthenic users.Since I'm sure that you have far more experience than us, I would like to know your opinion: First of all, what are those elements that you think its should be a must? I mean: high bars, parallel bars, crossfit jump box... On the other hand, we have a punching bag, a climbing rope and a training rope. All we need to do is create the structure for this three. We have searched measurements for high bars and parallels. What we have found is that high bars should have a height of 2,50 meters and around 1,50 meters of width and parallels around 1,50 meters of height. To me, that seems a little bit high. What do you think? Thank you so much for your help.

Hello all! This is my second 6-week challenge and I've come over to the Monks as I'm incorporating boxing training as the main theme of my goals this time. Some background - I boxed with my uni 2 years ago and got a very high level of training - our uni boxing club had the best female university boxers in Britain while I was there, and it was amazing to train with them. The following year I helped run a boxing club for kids. This was lots of fun, but unfortunately I did very little sparring as it was an under-18s club and we couldn't get insurance for it. Last year I moved to Ireland and joined a rugby team in order to keep fit and get to know people. I ended up loving the game and it definitely helped build up my confidence and aggression in contact. The season is winding up now, so over the summer I'd like to take up boxing again. I'm still playing rugby for the next couple of weeks, so while I do that I'm going to build up my skills and fitness/endurance so I can hit the ground running at a local boxing club (currently scouting for a local one that accepts women). Now for the goals! Goal 1 - Skills Complete 2 half-hour boxing skills sessions a week. I am going to do this in my home most likely, and will do shadow-boxing, skipping (while attempting not to smash anything valuable) and use internet resources like youtube videos to help. If the rugby training stops during this challenge I'll join a local boxing club. DEX - 4 Goal 2 - Fitness Go to rugby training twice a week. When the training stops I'll use my exercise bike, weights and bodyweight exercises in twice-weekly fitness sessions at home. STA - 3, STR - 3 Goal 3 - Diet Eat at least one portion of veg a day, and at least two pieces of fruit. This is pretty similar to a previous diet goal of mine, but it's something I struggle with and I really want to form this as a habit. Also, when I'm being mindful of eating fruit and veg I tend to eat better in general, and limit the amount of soft drinks/junk food. CON - 2 Goal 4 - Language I'm currently attempting to learn Irish, but in an informal, fits-and-bursts sort of way. I will spend half an hour, three times a week, studying Irish. WIS - 1, CHA - 1 So that's my second challenge! I'm looking forward to following the Monks' challenges and being a part of a new guild! I'd appreciate any suggestions for useful internet resources for boxing skills - am planning to look for youtube stuff mainly. Good luck all!
