  1. An article came out last week from BuzzFeed talking about ingredients found in U.S. manufactured food products that are banned in other countries. http://www.buzzfeed.com/ashleyperez/8-foods-we-eat-in-the-us-that-are-banned-in-other-countries I know many people here watch what they eat and either have, or working on having a simplier diet. The one thing that caught my eye about the article was how it was written. I felt it was using more scare tactics than well rounded arguments and it really sounded like it was trying to sell a book. One of the links in the article to help in justifying their claims was written by an NPR reporter and she had a response to the BuzzFeed post here: http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2013/06/24/195204951/our-beef-with-buzzfeeds-viral-article-on-8-dangerous-foods I guess my question is: Does BuzzFeed's article help or hurt in the movement to better improve people's diet?
