Djinn’s Main Quest Over the next six weeks, my goal is to work up to running a mile, happily, without injury. To achieve this, I have three specific goals: Run 3 – 4 days per week (on alternating days), gently increasing the distance each week, until I get up to a mile. A – Completed every scheduled run (be it 3 or 4) B – Skipped 1 C – Skipped 2 D – Skipped 3 F – Didn’t even think about running/ missed all I'm editing my eating goal because this one is making me crazy: Now, I'm going to simply be mindful of my hunger and fullness levels and make a general effort to eat healthfully. A - Noticed hunger whenever eating B - Generally noticed, but forgot to check sometimes C - Only checked once or twice D - Didn't check at all F - Didn't even think about checkingSuspecting that running will be easier if I’m lighter, I’m going to ensure that I eat three servings of vegetables every day and one serving of fruit. A – Missed one of the four servingsB – Missed two of the four servingsC – Missed three of the four servingsD – Missed all the servingsF – Ate only beige foods 3. Complete beginning bodyweight workouts three times a week, working up to completing two sets of everything except lunges, which I will do on the stairs at work. A – Worked out three timesB – Worked out twiceC – Worked out onceD – Didn’t work out, but made a paltry effort to wave my arms around a bitF – Did nothing at allLife Quest: Complete a solid draft of an article I need to write for school by April 6. A – draft is complete and sent to my professor for a preliminary look overB – draft is mostly done, but I’d be ashamed to show it to my professorC – draft is not done, but I’ve got most of the research doneD – Research and notes are scattered in half a dozen notebooks, crammed in various hidey holes in my house, but I have something that might work as a thesisF – I have no thesis, little research, and only a vague notion of my topic.
