GUIDELINES FOR EARNING DOLLARS Each day I exercise for 30 minutes, I earn a dollar I do not have to exercise 30 minutes at once, I can break it up over the day. I do not earn a dollar if I exercise less than 30 minutes. So 25 minutes means yay for exercise, but no dollar earned that day. I do not earn extra dollars for extra 30 minutes of exercise. 60 minutes means yay for exercise but no bonus dollars that day. *NEW* For each week I exercise at least 5 days, I'll double the amount of dollars for each day I exercise. 5 days=10 dollars, 6=12, 7=14. I can earn 1-4 dollars, or 10-14 each week. Consistency has always been a challenge for me. The dollar a day program works for me, I lost 5 pounds since March 28! But I would like to be more consistent with my exercise. Some weeks I earn 5 dollars, and some weeks I earn 1 or 2. With this new addition to the guidelines, I'm rewarding consistency and giving myself the extra motivation to push against my brain weasels and tiredness. I'm 6 dollars away from earning my hiking poles, and after that, the number goes to zero, and I'll save up this summer for a nice winter coat. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
