Hi, I'm looking for people (more the merrier) who'd be willing to form a Facebook group, or text, or email.... Help me stick to my routine and not fall into a funk. My focus is more on mental health than physical, but I am aiming to eventually start doing some hiking, jogging, martial arts, dance, and other stuff. I think my diet is pretty good as is and I'm happy to offer advice on cooking (I'm a pretty good cook). My nerdishness is in being a totally fantasy and SciFi bookworm (I prefer bookwyrm). After all, very little can't be improved with either lasers or dragons (or dragons with lasers?). Also a bit hooked on certain video games... Dragon Age, Mass Effect. I am a history nut, I have a ridiculous amount of knowledge about ancient history and not a whole lot to do with it. Anyways, I don't have much in the way of a real life support system beyond my therapist. I could use some friends to keep me inspired or nag me a little or just chat about nerd stuff.

One has not been as active in the Monk's section lately. The madness drives one to solitude, the solitude drives one to madness; and one neglects an entire community of supporters who are willing to keep me accountable. And we all have a meeting place. THE QUEST One With The Universe Declare a schedule at the beginning of the week. Even if I don't follow the schedule to a T, having a schedule gives me a reason to not sit around wallowing in misery (or at least limit the time that I spend doing it). And declaring said schedule, I suppose, would keep me honest, or at least make me work hard to be otherwise. (+2 CON, +2 WIS) The Middle Way Despite keeping to myself, I spend too much time on Facebook. But I cannot just delete Facebook, since it also deals with my work, so I have resolved to follow Intermittent Facebook Fasting. No Facebook from dawn to dusk. (+2 CON, +2 WIS) Embrace The Madness I have a blog, but it remains relatively empty. I have words running around in my head but I never write them down. I shall spend at least two hours a week reflecting and writing on my notebook. (+3 WIS) SIDE QUEST Basic Review A rather overdue belt test is coming up, and I am going to take part in it. No more sandbagging [albeit honest]. Review techniques from the Gracie University's Blue Belt requirements. (+2 DEX, +2 WIS)

I actually respawned last Tuesday, but I have been wandering around trying to find my base ever since then. I just didn't realize what I was doing until I got the respawn email today. From Steve. Then I was like, whoa. There's the base - I see it! *running toward base, waving* So anyway, last Tuesday my good dear friend said that she needed to cut down on social media time to force herself to deal with her real life. And I was like, hell yes, let's do this. I have got sucked into a bunch of worthwhile groups and discussions on facebook. They are great - I love my reading groups especially. But I don't have time for everything, something has got to give. And I realized that the next day was the beginning of Lent! I am a terrible heathen but damn I will use Lent to help me frame a resolution. So 40 days of saying goodbye of all my fun chatty fb groups. Ba-bye! It is not hard because real life is awesome. Just a matter of changing habits - I deleted fb app from my phone but kept pages app so I can manage my small business page. Will log in on pc two or three times a week to manage groups and events but always with a list of things to do - not to pass the time. I just have not got time for that! Ok respawn complete, rebel basecamp found, now off to sign up for a mission to keep me moving Thanks, Steve!
