It's a tough world out there. And few people are equipped to handle life outside in the Wastes. Fortunately (or unfortunately?) I have been chosen as one of the few to venture outside and keep the citizens of the Vault informed about the current state of the world. Before I can do that, though, I must be prepared, both physically and mentally, to face the challenges that the world outside will throw at me. Overall Goal Get down to between 20-22% bodyfat. (Currently at about 27%). Challenge #1 "Nuka-Cola and Instamash" Obviously the most important thing here is diet. Not a lot of options out in the Wastes, so I'm gonna have to get used to being disciplined with how and what I eat. (I'm currently in Week 2 of a Whole 30 diet which is going well, and I'll see what adjustments need to be made after it's done). Challenge #2 "Hey, local, shouldn't you be banging rocks together or something?" To survive out in the Wastes, you gotta be strong. Last challenge I easily hit 100,000 pounds lifted, so this time I'm upping the amount to 200,000. Challenge #3 "I promise this will be swift, but PAINFUL!" You also have to be fast, 'cause sometimes the ammo runs out or you run up against an enemy that just won't go down. Time to kick up my conditioning again. I need two sessions a week, even if it's only five minutes of burpees (with the limited space in the Vault, I may have to get creative). Life Challenge "There's nothing like the smell of plasma in the morning!" The time for being soft is over. Last challenge I failed miserably at getting up earlier each day - this time, that changes. A radscorpion won't wait until you're fully awake to start chewing on your head. The Wasteland awaits. Time to be ready.
