I started my fitness journey almost a year ago, with the aim to get fit and to build some muscle. I decided back then to try and gain almost 20 kg, and have so far gained about 10 Kg. However over the last 6 months my progress on this has stalled. As such this cycle I am going to drink a bucket load of milk ! This may or may not be wise but the basic idea is to eat 3000 calories and drink 6 pints of milk. (Not quite a full GOMAD / US Galon, but it's easier to buy the milk in 3 ltr cartons). I will need to up my workouts to try and ensure that not all of this weight takes the form of Fat. I still have no access to barbells, so will continue my bodyweight progressions, but including Weighted Bulgarian Split Squats (which I can progress using Dumbbells) and also some other Dumbbell Accessory Work (that's right Bro Curls !). I am also going to go back to including Pull-ups progressions in my main workout as I'm just not keeping up with the GtG. Gain 4 Kg Drink 6 pints of milk per day Complete a total of 15 workouts. I will include both Bodyweight and Juarez Valley work interchangeably. Fit 3 secondary Glazing Window Panels (need a life goal too !)

Greetings fellow Rebels... I've been on a vegan diet for four years, mainly for health reasons. I've always been skinny - I'm 5' 11" and topped out around 146 lbs on average before changing my diet. After switching to the vegan diet I lost about four pounds and hovered around 142 most of the time. Weight loss was never my goal, and I'd prefer not to lose any, really. I started Stronglifts seven weeks ago, and have lost four more pounds...so obviously I'm not eating enough. Is there anything out there you may have tried that's similar to drinking a gallon of milk a day (GOMAD) to gain weight? I saw one experimenter who tried a jar of peanut butter a day - not sure if I want to do that or not. But I'd like to gain some weight back fairly quickly... Part two: I need some suggestions for food to at least maintain weight, and if possible add weight over time (doesn't need to be fast, just slow and steady) that meet the following: - I can't spend a lot of time at home and so don't have a lot of kitchen access. It needs to be easy to prepare in a couple hours or less. Preferably something on the weekend that can last the entire week. - Large enough quantity to make several meals. - Fit into a $5-$7 a day budget. I know those are a lot of restrictions, but this is an area where I have very little experience. I can cook and know my way around a kitchen, I just don't know much about food. I'm hoping some of you folks have been in similar situations and have some suggestions! Stay on target!
