  1. Lilmissbri joins Dumbledore's Army Make a Polyjuice Potion As we all know, this potion of transformation takes about a month to make, lots of ingredients, and patience. Goal: 6 hour work day (Tu-Fri) towards my career as a VO artist. Goal: Eat a veggie (2/3 meal), a fruit, and drink 3 water bottles every day. (1 point each) Visit the Library You're never going to get any better unless you study up and read! At least, according to Hermione. Goal: Finish Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare and Self-Management for Actors by Bonnie Gillespie. 2. Scouts 6 Week Mini Challenge: Hello Scouts! Welcome to the 6 week challenge! We trust that you have your goals set and your laces tied. In addition to the Scout-wide group challenge (here) and the 4 goals you have set for yourselves to accomplish over the next 6 weeks, we will be running (har har) a mini challenge that bears a small prize/token for all who complete it in full!!! The rules: Each week the mods (Shukar, Wicked Pixie, and Hammi) will post details for the current week’s mini challenge on Monday morning RIGHT HERE. You will have until Midnight your time zone the following Sunday to complete it and report back. Should you complete ALL 6 mini challenges by their respective due dates, you will receive a prize! OOOO LALA! The mods will edit this original post, so this will be the only thread that you have to visit to check in and get your assignment. How to track: Please copy and repost the template you see below and edit your own information as appropriate. Each week when you report back you will edit your ORIGINAL POST (please do not create a new post for each report- duplicate posts will be disqualified). There is not just one winner for this challenge! Everyone who completes ALL 6 weeks on time will win a lil somethin’. So what are you waiting for??? Template: My Name: Week 1 Challenge completed on: Week 1 Report: Week 2 Challenge completed on: Week 2 Report: Week 3 Challenge completed on: Week 3 Report: Week 4 Challenge completed on: Week 4 Report: Week 5 Challenge completed on: Week 5 Report: Week 6 Challenge completed on: Week 6 Report: Challenge for Week 1: Spend this week going through the goals that you have outlined for these 6 weeks- double check that goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic/Relevant, and Timely/Time-Bound (use this article from Steve if you need help!) Choose one goal that you think will give you the most trouble this round and put together a plan for how to attack it! Report back with the goal you chose to focus on and you plan to obliterate it! (use the line in your template that says "Week 1 Report") Challenge for Week 2: Food is Fuel: In an effort to better ourselves, we need to remember that studies suggest that 80% of our success comes from the stuff we feed our bodies! (I think I nabbed that from It Starts with Food) Steve has some great articles that can help us with this area of focus: A Beginner's Guide to Healthy Eating How to cook a decent meal and How to Eat Healthy Without Breaking the Bank Our challenge this week is to choose two meals and add one food item to each that you normally wouldn't eat or try that will help you towards your goal. For some of us this will be adding a veggie we have never tried or a protein we've never thought we could cook. Report back with what 2 items you decided to eat/try and why. If you hated them before and you hate them still, that's ok! Challenge for Week 3: Support Crew- It's so important to have folks in your life that can help dust you off when you fall and have to get back up! It's also so important to BE said duster!!! If you're getting stuck on finding your "me too" people here is a great article Steve wrote about meeting people through fitness! For this challenge we want you to identify someone in your life that you can lean on either here or in real life for support when things are getting hard or you start to lose motivation. Because verbalizing is way better than assuming, we want you to reach out to that person to ask for that. In addition to that we want each of you to also reach out to another scout guildie to offer encouragement, support etc. Report back with who your "dust-me-off" buddy is and what scout guildie you reached out to. Challenge for Week 4: Water! Being that we should be about halfway around the world by now we should be hydrating. There's lots of great information and formulas out there to help us figure out how much water we should be drinking in a given day. (Here is just one example) Use this link, or any other you find that you trust to calculate how much water you should be consuming and DRINK UP! Report back on 3+ days of drinking the suggested amount. Share your thoughts! Challenge for Week 5: This week's challenge we want to work on cross training! This is really simple! All you have to do is choose one day to incorporate an activity that is outside the realm of endurance sports! If you are looking for something new and exciting, maybe pop on the other guild boards, and check out what they've got going on; you could even unofficially participate their mini-challenge for that week. Report back which what you chose to do for your cross training, or if you did another mini challenge tell us what guild you chose, what you did, and how it will help their endurance goals overall! Challenge for Week 6: Let's sprint to the finish and wrap up! For this final week we want everyone to focus on finishing strong, checking in with your goals, start working on your wrap up and patting yourself on the back- YOU'RE ALMOST THERE!!! Completion requires you to reflect and acknowledge what you're most proud of. For details on writing the wrap up, see step 7 here. Report: What are you most proud of? Reflect on that and begin to work on your wrap up!
