I'm brand new to the warrior guild. I never pictured myself here. When I first started nerd fitness I pictured myself as a ranger or an assassin. I never pictured myself as a warrior. My initial time in the Assassins was successful, but I've had multiple failed challenges recently and the truth is I just wasn't into what I was doing. I finally got a personal trainer to help me check my form and work with me on the barbell, and I fell in love. I love love love love that barbell. All I want to do is lift. So regardless of how I've pictured myself, or where I thought I'd end up, I'm here. And you warriors seem pretty cool. Epic Quest: To feel good, energetic, physically capable, and comfortable in my own skin. To feel happy and balanced in my life overall. Goal 1: Work Out! Lift three times a weekDo something fun but physical once a week. Such as racquetball, hiking, or bowling. If something happens and I can't lift a body weight routine or some interval training would be acceptable substitutes. Goal 2: Reduce the crap I put in my body Pack lunch for workLimit alcohol. I may drink 4 times over the next six weeks, and each time I may have up to two drinks.No binge eating after the kiddo goes to bed. Life Quest: Use my time in the evenings wisely In bed by 11pm, Monday – ThursdayClean up for at least 10 minutes dailySet out clothes and make lunch the night before Side Quest: Be creative/crafty Do something creative and/or crafty once a week.Try something new.
